Notice:
We're glad that another long-awaited Bullfrog Classic finally joined our catalog. We know that many of you were anxious to see it here. At the same time, we need to disappoint those of you, who were hoping to pick it up during the upcoming Winter Sale. This particular title won't be discounted this time, as the sale is coming too short after it's release. So, you can be sure you can pick it up today, and you won't feel foolish seeing it discounted in a few days from now ;-) Just a heads up from your friendly GOG.com team!
I love you GoG. Please have my babies.

jamyskis: Also, have you lost some hair there?
avatar
keeveek: I donated my hair to homeless people for blankets.
When mine fell out I put it in storage. I'm selfish that way! :D

F4LL0UT: By the way, I thought Sim Theme Park was the American title of Theme Park Manager while Theme Park World was still published by the same name everywhere.
Nah, Theme Park Manager - i.e. the third game - was called Theme Park Inc. in some countries.

Talk about getting yourself tongue-tied.

jimbob0i0: Is this the floppy or CD version (the latter letting you enter certain rides such as coasters and the haunted house)?
wondering the same thing
A good release and an old game for a change, but over-shadowed by the excellent Rollercoaster Tycoon series.

lugum: Is there anything like this with a zoo/animals?
Wildlife Park (2003)
Wildlife Park 2 (2006)
Wildlife Park 3 (2011)

So you used them as blankets for mice and roaches ;P
Nice release today, I'll be picking up soon.

timppu: I hear this is supposed to be good?

But then, so was Theme Hospital and Rollercoaster Tycoon. :(

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzZZZZZzzzz...
Then you probably won't like Theme Park either. Though this is my favorite of those games. (Could also be it was the only one I played back when it was out)
YYEES! NOW GIVE US THEME PARK WORLD!!!

I'm thinking of having a hair portrait done with it. Typically that's only done with a dead person's hair but anyone who's ever met me in person would actually have a hard time proving I am alive, so it works.
Tjank you GOG, It was a game a wanna buy you ! He was very missing in your amazing bullfrog's game list.

Naev.

G-Doc: First! (not :-( )

And also: SURPRISE! :-D
*shaking head and chuckling*

You mofos got me (and I'm assuming others) good. Thank you for this. :) Good to see we get another actual classic before the year is over.

I am still a little worried some current publishers like Activision and Ubisoft (where are fresh batches from them?), as well as the Fallout games and a whole new publisher, but man is welcome!

Thank you all.

Were both DOS versions? At 82 megs I'd assume it's the CD version, but of course if the CD version was Win 3.1 or 95 only, I'm guessing GOG couldn't have brought it for compatibility reasons.

http://pressf1.pcworld.co.nz/showthread.php?94331-Old-Game-Theme-Park-World seems to suggest it supports 3Dfx, so assuming it would run well under nGlide I think we'll see it eventually. :)

I think they were less good than Zoo Tycoon 2 (+ expansions) sadly.

This genre really needs a freaking revival. It got one sadly in the new Zoo Tycoon, but it's exclusive to the freaking Xbox, been waiting for the next one in that series for ages but not getting an Xbox to play it >.<
