And so, the story is complete.

The Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate and The Legend of Kyrandia: Malcolm's Revenge, the middle and the final book in the comedic fantasy adventure saga straight from the golden age of 2D point-and-clicking, are available 33% off on GOG.com. That's only $3.99 for each of them, as well as the first Legend of Kyrandia, for an entire week, if you buy the whole saga or complete your collection!

It began with the adventure of Brandon, the rightful heir to the throne left empty by treachery and murder. The first Legend of Kyrandia the hero comes of age during his travels, learns some essential magic spells, recovers a mystical artifact, and faces his parents' murderer. Years pass. Zanthia, a young female alchemist and wizard encountered in the first game, discovers that the kingdom of Kyrandia is in great danger. In The Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate the land seems to be mysteriously disappearing, piece by piece. The beautiful heroine has to embark on a dangerous quest which will lead her to some unsettling discoveries. She will also find her one true love, whether she want's it or not--just in time to save his sorry behind. Finally, the story will come full circle and you'll see things from a whole new perspective. In The Legend of Kyrandia: Malcolm's Revenge the villain of the first story makes a comeback, and this time he has to make it without his magical powers. Is he really the murdering maniac we thought he was, or just a regular maniac with no blood on his hands?

With today's release, The Legend of Kyrandia saga is now complete on GOG.com. To celebrate that fact, you can get it with 33% off discount, if you get all three games (or already had the first one and you're getting the two missing ones). That's only $3.99 for each of them until Thursday, October 17, at 12:59PM GMT.

fuzzybunny566: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Seriously, I've waited since I first signed up with GOG in 2008 to get the Kyrandia trilogy, and I was totally stoked just to get the first game a few weeks ago. I figured we wouldn't get the other games till later, but this is so damn awesome! Thank you so much GOG!
Exactly the same feeling here !! One of the games i missed the most from the old days =)

Rincewind81: Can you please add the french and german texts for Part 1? ;)
I know, that you are only offering the english version, but part two and three are french and german too... ;)
Those are already included, but you have to modify the command you use to launch them. Let me find the instructions.

Edit: Here you go.

Thank you!

Just for information:
So all three games included german and french subtitles. For part 2 and three it is not necessary to edit the launcher, you can switch the language ingame.
Just noticed the following in my inbox:
Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate & Malcolm's Revenge now available--your GOG wish is granted
Isn't this cute?
Will the trilogy be available on OS X?
Woot! Woot! Woot!
I'll just add my 2cents to encourage adventure fans (or non fans) to buy at least Hand of fate.It is one of the best adventure game ever made, period.(in my top3 with Day of the Tentacle and gabriel Knight) It is fun, gorgeous and the puzzles are never dull, too hard or too easy, just perfect.the others two are not as legendary ,but are sure picks nonetheless.) Thanks GOG for this release !!!
Could you please get the soundtracks for the games? At least Hand Of Fate! It's one of the best soundtracks to a computer game EVER!
Very Kool ;p Personally, I not really into adventure games, but I'm glad to see these titles here.
Fantastic! Now i have all three games in my games. I noticed that slowly you are releasing all the Ea/Westwood games. I hope that we'll see even Dune, Dune 2 and Eye of Begolder trilogy on GOG!

Dune 1 is neither EA, nor Westwood. It was made by Cryo Interactive.
I loved Kyrandia 2 and 3. 1 too, but I prefer voice-acting :)
3 was so great when I was a child. It was so cool to be a charming evil guy...

MC2-Microïds owns all the assets of Cryo Interactive now and they have already signed with GOG.
So, chances are that we will see a release of this eventually. I have voted for Dune 1, since I think it is a fantastic game with music to match. Actually I think that the AdLib-Music for this title is even better than the MT32 music, which is quite rare. Enjoy!

ogyrggravy: Will the trilogy be available on OS X?
Just buy the games, install them using Wine and fire up the executables from within a native MacOSX version of DOSBox or run it through ScummVM. It's not that hard.
I play the games on Linux using the same programs mentioned.
BTW, I can really recommend them, especially Kyrandia 2.

I'm guessing since it's not written anywhere that these versions do not include speech right? I remember that both Kyrandia 1 & 2 were re-releashed with voice overs and it was quite interesting. Kyrandia 3 was a speechy from the beginning. So here comes my question...are you planning a future release of the voice pack or is there a way to add speech to the GOG version of the games?
