You've merely adopted the chaos. They were born in it.

Pandemonium 2, a crazy colorful 2.5D platformer with two very different characters traversing many trippy, devious, and action-packed locations, is available on GOG.com, for only $5.99.

Here's a new story of Nikki and Fargus, the Sorceress and the Fool--erm, sorry: Court Jester would be the correct title to use. We all have to learn to address him with due respect. After all, if the dynamic duo succeeds in their quest, they'll have the ultimate magical power of the Comet of Infinite Possibilities within their grasp. Oh well, better them than the Goon Queen, I'll guess. It's better to have chaotic good overlords, than a chaotic evil despot ruling the world, after all!

Pandemonium 2 offers you a diverse, zany, and colorful world that just begs for you to run and jump through its many crazy loops. It's a non-stop wild platforming party full of crazy ideas, wicked humor, and magic. At times, you'll get the impression that the game's world was designed by a five-year-old, and we mean it in the best possible sense. It's an explosion of imagination you really need to experience!

Unleash the chaos, run like hell, and reach for the ultimate mystical power in Pandemonium 2, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.

tfishell: Well, I gotta admit your post was pretty whiney. In my opinion, it's one thing to express disappointment (which some people are doing here, including myself), it's another to imply strong, out-of-control emotion in a post that we're suppose to take seriously.

Or maybe it's your manliness...
Dude, I want that game... And I know GOG has the rights to publish it, I know it has thousand of votes on the wishlist(more than Jade Empire, for example) and it's not here....

I'M MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE !

It was a Windows 9x game. It probably has all kinds of issues that need to be worked out.

Well actually when I tried it nGlide worked reasonably well. Main things were some graphical glitches (textures coming to the foreground that weren't suppose to be there) - there were far from game-breaking but they were kind of annoying and they may be what's stopping GOG from bringing the game here. (Oh, and initially my mouse could only move around in a 640x480 area, but I got that sorted out.)

But my experience may not be what GOG got from their own testing, for better or worse.

I get graphical glitches too, even some GOGs give me graphical glitches. I don't really mind it that much.

Early windows games are an unpredictable mess nowadays though, I bet on one or more of their test computers they ran into some sort of issue. They probably don't want to pull another DK2.

I heartily agree. While nobody likes to be frozen with fear about the possibility of making mistakes, GOG still seems has a strong rep around the internet for "old games that work on modern systems", and DK2 was a serious dent in that rep, although the patch was a huge step in the right direction. So, if they are holding back certain titles because they simply don't work on some test machines, I'm glad they are. (Hopefully while still trying to find solutions.) Quality over quantity (which is also why I don't like to encourage GOG to release a whole bunch of games every week)
I actually decided to play the first Pandemonium after beating Rayman Origins. Quite fun. I'm very likely to pick up its sequel as well.

RafaelLopez: Look who's got a lot of time in his hands. ;-P
Yes, and an RSS feed that goes back to 2012 or so. Makes it much easier to look up release dates ;)
I'm curious about this game, and want to grab it, but I've got a backlog I want to work on before adding new games. Thank goodness for the wishlist. :)

Licurg: WHERE THE FUCK IS CARMAGEDDON 2 !?!?!? Why are you doing this to me GOG ? Don't you know I have feelings too ? :(

RafaelLopez: I love low rated posts. They imply that a LOT of people hated the post enough to take the time to click on the (-) button. It's so exciting! Seeing a low rated comes with a few seconds wondering why the hate. In most cases people get offended because someone is criticizing GOG, which is kind of amusing.
Made me laugh. :D

This game is great for platform lovers.

JMich: I'd guess we do have slower release schedule due to an incoming Summer Sale.
Incoming summer sale???? *looks frantically around* *looks at wallet and weeps*

tfishell: My thing here is, I'm personally hoping that G-Doc isn't just hyping an upcoming sale.
Hmm.. summer is coming..I don't think we can expect anything else before September. But I'm cool with it. Still have some titles to pick.
I love this game! Glad it's on GOG!

That's fine, I mean the GOG team needs vacation and what not, but I don't think a sale is worth hyping. Maybe it is if there's some interesting aspect to it...
Maybe it's PWYW for the entire catalogue?

Yeah, that's manly! Go you!

Let's face it, "whiney" is more than half of the posts in release threads.

tfishell: out-of-control emotion
Manly out-of-control emotion that is. You should see my posts in times before the release of the Ultima games.
