JudasIscariot: What!?!?! Only one release?

You're welcome.

Ghorpm: Thanks :D How about "GOG is not releasing classic games anymore"? Will we see it here? It can be funny how predictable those comments are...
Well, I would but seeing as that would be in blue text, people might take it the wrong way :P
The game looks neat, but I can't help being disappointed about GOG's recent releases. It seems roughly every other game is a platformer. I wouldn't say it's the most popular gaming genre. For me it serves as a minor distraction from deeper games.

Please click on the New & Coming tab on the main page and look how many of the latest games were platformers. ;-)
Nice, I'm glad the soundtrack is included.
I just saw a post by the developer on Greenlight that said that the bugs I reported earlier in this thread are gone in this final version. The version I played was a special pre-release for Groupees which wasn't complete (with no chance to beat the last level). I wish I knew that before I spent my time with it. Just hope my savegame will work with the final version and I don't have to do everything again.

But anyway, it should be safe to buy it.

I did just that before posting. I counted 7 platformers/arcades among the most recent 17 games. Okay, let's say roughly every third game is a platformer/arcade. This is not an official complaint; I've got enough of a backlog so that longer periods between great games are actually welcome because they allow me to reduce the said backlog. Still, just an observation.

Fret not. The funny/scary (depending on how you see it) fact is that despite my mockery most of those comments were made anyway ;) Probably people don't read posts in thread like this...

you can get it DRM free via IndieGameStand, Gamers Gate and Desura.
Lord of the Rings font. :)
Am I the only one who thinks the game protagonist looks like the villain from "Motel Hell"?
looks like a neat little game but doesn't seem worth it's asking price of 10 dollars and I'm also dissapointed that this is the only release today
It's true that there are a lot of platformers lately. But going just by screenshots this looks somewhat above par—just my first impression knowing nothing else about the game. I mean, it feels like some 90% of Indie platformers go for an 8-bit retro look as an excuse for not having an artist in their team, and that is what I've grown a bit tired of. And there's only so much 80s vector graphics you can take before you descend into abstract visuals madness.

In contrast Mr. Bree looks positively beautiful, something I can say looks good, and not just "looks fair if you limit yourself to pre-1985 resolutions and palettes".

Of course a demo would always be extremely helpful to get a feel for such games…
