Is this title compensating for something?

Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude: Uncut and Uncensored!, an unruly adventure game brazenly showing its sexy 3D bits, available on GOG.com, for only $5.99.

The legendary leisure suit got passed on. Meet Larry Lovage, the young man destined to carry on the heritage of his uncle, the legendary womanizer and the God's gift to womankind--Larry Laffer. Ok, that might be a bit of an exaggeration. Larry Lovage, the hero of Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude: Uncut and Uncensored! is just as well suited to wear the leisure suit, as his uncle was a unstoppable love machine. But that won't stop him, oh no! There are still some hot chicks in the world that never heard the name Larry Lovage. It's a good thing--they won't know what's coming.

Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude: Uncut and Uncensored! takes the fan-favorite Leisure Suit Larry series for a spin in the realm of 3D. Gameplay-wise it's much different from it's predecessors, but the naughty humor is still there, no worries. Once you wrap your head around its concept and the main character who is Larry Laffer's nephew, it will offer you many enjoyable and playful mini-games.

If you wonder what happens when Lovage hits the streets, get Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude: Uncut and Uncensored! for only $5.99 on GOG.com.
Ya this is where the series really went downhill. Just didn't have the charm of Larry 1-6, a lot of the humour felt quite forced which causes it to lose it's impact or even felt out of place (Like when you are told the punchline to a joke that ruins the joke).

The change to mostly mini games can also be a turn off for those that preferred the adventure element the series is more famous for.
I originally played this on the PS2, and had two thoughts about this game:

"Wow, Al Lowe must've been a moderating influence"

"This collection of minigames sucks, this is not a Leisure Suit Lary Game"

JMich: Get thee behind me Satan I guess.
It's more in terms of "Go back satan" or "step back, satan"

I was actually hoping they wouldn't release this.
Boobies. I approve.
......I never bought this game, but this is the game that made me aware of the Leisure Suit Larry series.
NO, NO NO

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO

Edit: ... eh. Maybe now I'll just... sell my boxed copy and get this one instead. :P

I really like the LSL series... but Larry's retarded smile on the banner for this game makes me want to eyestab whoever illustrated that picture.
Holy crap I never realized they kept making LSL games post-Sierra, and with 3D graphics too.... the horror
Never felt like bringing out that old "I thought it was GOOD old games!" joke, but if any game release deserves it...
Well this was completely unnecessary.
But hey, I believe many minds have been blown by this one, so there ya go.
Come now, GOG's released numerous crap games in the past. At least this one has boobs.

Let's save it for when Box Office Bust is released.
What the Hell were they thinking? o.O
So, is this supposed to be the definite mark of gog.com moving away from the Good Old Games moniker, instead opting for GOG?

Also, isn't May a little late for an April fools joke?

Also, what is wrong with you?
Horrible
