Hey, Babe! You know what they say about games with long titles, right?

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded, the modern remake of the original naughty adventure featuring Larry Laffer, updated with sleek cartoony graphics, new puzzles, new activities, and new objects of romantic conquest, is available on GOG.com for only $19.99.

So, the guy walks into my bar, and it takes me exactly five seconds to look at him and decide he's a hopeless shmock. I've seen many middle-aged guys trying to get lucky in my part of town on a Saturday night. "Lefty's" does have a reputation, after all. But this guy--I just instantly knew he was a special kind of sorry loser. Dressed in a generic white polyester suit, gold chain around his neck, silly hairdo barely distracting the attention from his shiny bald spots, five feet tall, and the look of a rutting buck in his eyes. The moment he walks in, he fixes his sights on the closest female target, comes by, says maybe five words tops, and gets slapped on the mug. "Show's over", I think to myself. But no. Get this, the guy just turns around smiles like an idiot, and hits on another chick. Let me tell you this, man, if you don't have the looks, and don't smell like cash, you need to be persistent. By the time he left, I felt both sorry for him and admired him at the same time. Well, I mostly felt sorry for him, but that doesn't make for an interesting story. Ready for another beer?

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded takes one of the most memorable adventure games of all times and gives it a total makeover to add some modern--yet conservative--bells and whistles. You'll get to play through the entire original story, now presented in hand-drawn 2D cartoony graphics (not unlike the art-style of Larry 7: Love for Sail), and accompanied by a great new orchestrated version of the soundtrack. On top of that, the new version comes with new puzzles, mini-games, activities, and--most importantly--new women for Larry Laffer to woo. Isn't that exciting? Very exciting? Dare we say: arousing?

Let the smelly yellow cab drop you off in front of the famous Lefty's Bar once again--or perhaps for the first time ever--in Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded, for only $19.99 on GOG.com!

Gonadius: I wonder if the remakes are successful if we'll (finally) get Larry 4? Al always claims it was his favourite, so he's bound to want to remake it...
If they ever make a new game it would make a lot of sense to call it Larry 4, for sure. It's a ways away though since they're supposedly intent on remaking the original trilogy and are already working on Larry 2.
Al Lowe has admitted that there never was a Larry 4 (most notably because the way he ended Larry 3 made it very difficult to make a direct continuation of the story).
And if they make a Larry 8, it probably won't be Lust in Space, but a brand new story.
Hm... I'm pretty sure I backed this project with PayPal a year ago. Never received any updates or download links though.

Whatever, I just bought it here. Projects like this are worth supporting and after all... It's Larry. Can't wait to start playing this, I might even shed a few tears for nostalgia's sake. :-)

I also backed it via PayPal and never received an email.
You have to go to the Replay Games website and under the Kickstarter page there is a resend email option, this will send you a code to log in as a kickstarter backer, then you have to create an account on the site and you will see the game as purchased and you can download it DRM free or redeem a steam key

Perfect!
Awful and indefensible.
