Welcome to your new turn-based addiction!

Eador. Masters of the Broken World, a fantastic turn-based strategy game of epic proportions, with RPG elements, is available on GOG.com, for only $19.99.

The shards of Eador, the world shattered by the legendary cataclysm, are never at peace. The demigod masters, the immortal rulers of this strange realm, wage eternal wars against each other. This is a land that lost its hope for being reunited, broken beyond fixing. Is there even a slightest chance to mend the wounds that have been there for what it seems like forever? Is there a power strong enough to conquer all the opposition and end the chaos forever? Could that power be you?

Eador. Masters of the Broken World is the next big thing in turn-based strategy games. It takes all the complexity you would expect from a 4X game (that is: eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate), adds some extra challenge, extends the gameworld beyond measure, and finishes off the mixture with some top-notch dreamy graphics. If you're looking for one game, that you can easily keep playing and replaying for years to come, you have found it.

Take a few days off, kiss your loved ones goodbye, set an automatic feeder for your cat and take a plunge into the multi-layered universe of Eador. Masters of the Broken World, for only $19.99 on GOG.com!
Well if it is a bit buggy I hope they get it all shined up soon, because it looks super cool to me. I am very interested but think I will give it some time to mature.
IMO the money would have been better spent on a proper manual instead of flash graphics but I certainly don’t feel ripped off because the first game is tricky enough that I still discover new tactics after 3 (mostly) successful campaigns.

Romiras: Whoa.

From what I know the devs released the game just today and its already on GOG.

Glad I've preordered this on day one!

Pheace: This is surprising how? If they have a preorder up you can expect it to be available when it comes out, no? :)
It's just that usually game developers from Russia do not release the game worldwide simulteniously with local release.
BTW: You´ve got a spelling mistake in the headline:
It´s not Eador. Masters of the Broken World, it´s Eador: Masters of the Broken World ;)

Also happens in the catalog and the headlines. Maybe Shodan is starting to take control of the servers. ;)

Shodan IS the server! ;)

Oh, no! I can't remember where I left my wrench! ;)
Well it's fun, I didn't have any major issues or bugs in my 3 hours of play time.

The most weird thing is having random slowdowns, but in a turn based game it's not that bad. The other bugs are in combat, as sounds are out of sync and everyone has the same sound of running footsteps (no matter how fast they move). Plus the combat music doesn't play if there is one.

Another nuance is not having a mob's info when exploring a region, so you go off charging something that will whip your ass.

DarrkPhoenix: Not planning to buy this anytime soon based on reviews, but out of curiosity I have a question: MotBW is currently selling for $20, while Eador: Genesis is currently selling for $6; where's $14 worth of value supposed to be coming from? From what I've read of MotBW the gameplay is pretty much copypasta, the campaign is pretty much copypasta, the graphics got a facelift but with some loss of functionality in the process, and there are currently reports of a fair number of bugs and poor optimization. Given all this, just where is the $14 or value that MotBW is supposed to be adding on top of Genesis?
Unless you're a graphics whore, absolutely nowhere. Or want to support the studio, but... Damn it, they couldn't even be arsed to make new art assets like portraits, even inventory screen has got the same texture as the original game. I wonder what they were doing during those 3 years.
Fantastic!

I'm not sure the error lies with GOG, the developers themselves aren't completely sure whether it should be full stop or colon.

Page title and breadcrumb trail say ".", but the answer to the question say ":".

You are correct: the error does not lie with GOG. The developers, I suspect, are not native English speakers. In English grammar, a colon is used as an explanatory continuation of the first clause ('Eador' in this case), or to introduce a list (that does not apply here). A 'full stop' or 'period' is used for one thing only: to indicate the end of a sentence (that also does not apply here). Clearly, the title should be 'Eador: Masters of the Broken World'.

And proper nouns begin with a capital letter, unless I'm mistaken, yet Apple has several products starting with the minuscule "i".

Those are trademarks, not subject to the same rules.
Needs a bit more polish. There are a few bugs here and there but other than that I guess its still genesis with fancy graphics and for me its good.

Hopefully things would go smoother soon and I guess its forgivable since its not a triple A dev and hopefully people wouldn't ignore this great game since it has tons of potential.

Still getting used to the 'eye candy' since I have been plowing through my GOG backlog and I have never played an eye candy in quite awhile and this game is something I would classify as something like 'crysis' in the strategy category. LOL
