JinseiNGC224: The question is, will this be the end of the 5th b-day celebration? Any more big releases this week?

JudasIscariot: I dunno LOL
O_o

tinyE: Warning: The Air Traffic Controller mission is fucking impossible!
avatar
Kunovski: is that the one that is timed and you need to jump on top of some roofs to kill some people? that's where I quit playing and never came back...
The mission on the USS Lewinsky is much harder. =(

There are several like that. This one requires you jump up to a tower, a tall one, and hit some controllers in it. It's passable but only with some luck. You need to snag a mortar or an electro ray, time your jump perfectly, fire your round perfectly, and then you are good. Once I managed to break the glass (very hard because the glass is at an extreme angle) and get my car actually into the control booth. That was fun.

JudasIscariot: The songs are there in the game but not as a separate download because, come on, it's Iron Maiden. All of their music is still being sold :P
avatar
tinyE: I'm a Maiden FREAK! Don't tell me about their records still being sold! I own two copies of each one (one for the cd player and one in a vault as a backup in case my cd player gets stolen or blown up). I want "Where Eagles Dare" played at my funeral!

oh and Thank You Judas. :D
AWESOME song...one of the first tunes I ever learned on guitar. I remember as a kid, sitting down with my record player and learning every song on AC/DC's Back In Black and Maiden's Piece of Mind. The Trooper is another fun one to play. It's impossible to play any Maiden song on guitar and not feel powerful. Or have a cheesy grin on your face the entire time.

Well, hell...now I'll have to pick the game up!! I had no clue about the soundtrack.
Nice release! I didn't know Iron Maiden was in the game, well that definitely doesn't hurt.

jamyskis: Does it? Been trying for years, never had any luck.
works fine for me (W7x64, AMD 7970). i do, however, use nGlide in order to play the game with hardware acceleration.

Where Eagles Dare isn't in this game but The Trooper is along with Aces High and two others.

Wow. Those are classics. "Aces High" was a staple in their live shows, and there was one live record with a spectacular performance. I didn't expect them to include such popular songs in this game, especially at that time ... the songs weren't that old when the game was released, were they?
I am surprised there is no Slayer in this game's soundtrack, this song would have been awesome:

Hmmm Piece of Mind had been around a while, as had Powerslave. I don't have my Maiden timeline with me. Actually with this topic I'm in the process of redoing all my GTA soundtracks. I never got around to it with my new HD unfortunately I've forgotten how so I'm googling 'how to' pages in another window. I figure if I can have Maiden in C2 then I can have it in Vice City.

Awesome stuff! Thanks!
Hell yeah! Thanks to GOG to release this classic. So much fun on this 14 years ago with my friend. Tried few years ago to play, but it not included the soundtrack. Wishlisted NOW!
About time!

Now I need to beg my missus to let me buy it ;)
