Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now, the high-speed internal organ liberation simulator full of madness and mayhem, is available on GOG.com for only $9.99.

In Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now you've got everything laid out for you right there, in the game's title. It's the armageddon--all hell breaks loose, the world is consumed by madness, fire, and violence. It's the apocalypse--everything that was reassuring about the world is collapsing around you, and no one has anything left to lose. All this is happening right NOW, and it involves cars. See? Just looking at the title you instantly understand what the game is all about. What you might not yet know, is that the sequel to the bloodiest racing game ever created, is even more outrageously fun! With 30 grueling tracks, 10 manic mission levels, and 10 stunning new environments, crazy physics engine, lots of special features drastically changing the rules on the go, and a thundering heavy metal soundtrack from Iron Maiden and Sentience, this infamous title gives you every possible reason to unleash your road rage with an outburst of maniacal laughter.

Don't be afraid of gaming-world chaos, mayhem, violence, and excessive speed.
Embrace them all in Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now, for only $9.99 on GOG.com!

To celebrate the launch, GOG.com is also hosting a giveaway of 50,000 copies of the prequel to this game--the original Carmageddon Max Pack--on social media site Reddit.com, where the developers of the Carmageddon franchise will be answering questions about Carmageddon, their recent successful Kickstarter, the new game in the series and pretty much anything else. Visit Reddit here to take part in the giveaway or ask Stainless anything, starting now!

Buenro-games: Wow free Armageddon Max Pack in 5 seconds. Check the photo attach. I literally just registered in Reddit and sent a message to GOGaway a few minutes ago. And boom, finally got my wishlisted game with no problems. Super nice promo!
This was good to hear. I sent a second message and got a response right away. Perhaps there was a small window where the responder was down?

Anyway, thanks GOG and Stainless!
Finally got mine! Wow...I have wanted it so badly these last sales...<3 thank you!

Boilpoint: How long ago did you guys send the PM?
I get mine after a minute or so, but know a friend that wait hours.

tinyE: I'm a Maiden FREAK! Don't tell me about their records still being sold! I own two copies of each one (one for the cd player and one in a vault as a backup in case my cd player gets stolen or blown up). I want "Where Eagles Dare" played at my funeral!

oh and Thank You Judas. :D

JudasIscariot: Hehe me too! In fact, why do you think I wore a Maiden shirt in the first GOG.com Carmageddon video? :D
Usually we ask things like "Can I play this with a mouse" or "Can I play it with an X-Box controller" but this discussion leads me to ask, "Can I play with madness"? Knowing this one's here gives me real Piece Of Mind. It's a tough game, though, so you have to be a real Trooper to get through it. It's worth it, though for all the Revelations you will discover. Of course the players running over people makes them Killers. This game's not just a must-buy, having it is A Matter of Life and Death. It's The Final Frontier of racing games. You'll go really fast. You'll go blazing through The X Factor in this Virtual (XI) world.

Oh well. It's time to grab the game so I can watch people do the Dance Of Death as I hit them with my car in this game's Brave New World of death and destruction mixed with racing. This game's terrifying enough to give anyone a Fear of the Dark.

My brain just shorted out trying to hear all those at the same time. It was glorious. :D
Awesome. Great promo :)
Most magnificent release! And thank you for the giveaway, just got my copy of the first one!
Lovely release and giveaway :D thanks!
Man those graphics look like ass, is it using 3dfx emulator? Looks like the worst kind of early 3D graphics I've ever seen, I'd take pixelated "gritty" 3D graphics with sprites (like Carma 1) over that "smooth" sanitized look any day.
Thanks Stainless and GOG, for Carmageddon Max Pack!

Yes, the 3Dfx (and Direct3D) versions look like that. Back then 3D graphics cards had much less texture memory (which explains the fuzzy textures) and no GPU (which explains the low polygon counts; the GPU calculations were performed by the main CPU, 3D accelerators mainly just added some effects like texture filtering, mipmapping, Z-buffer and perspective corrected textures on top of it).

But it is a great action/driving game regardless, and you don't mind the graphics when you are driving at full speed towards an enemy car. Well, except for the time-limited special missions which I still dislike.

And whats the chance of seeing here games like Human Revolution for 2€? Anyway, many developers have given steam keys before, Metro 2033 for example.

Hating because yes.
Thanks for the code giveaway, even though I still haven't gotten mine yet.
