Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now, the high-speed internal organ liberation simulator full of madness and mayhem, is available on GOG.com for only $9.99.

In Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now you've got everything laid out for you right there, in the game's title. It's the armageddon--all hell breaks loose, the world is consumed by madness, fire, and violence. It's the apocalypse--everything that was reassuring about the world is collapsing around you, and no one has anything left to lose. All this is happening right NOW, and it involves cars. See? Just looking at the title you instantly understand what the game is all about. What you might not yet know, is that the sequel to the bloodiest racing game ever created, is even more outrageously fun! With 30 grueling tracks, 10 manic mission levels, and 10 stunning new environments, crazy physics engine, lots of special features drastically changing the rules on the go, and a thundering heavy metal soundtrack from Iron Maiden and Sentience, this infamous title gives you every possible reason to unleash your road rage with an outburst of maniacal laughter.

Don't be afraid of gaming-world chaos, mayhem, violence, and excessive speed.
Embrace them all in Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now, for only $9.99 on GOG.com!

To celebrate the launch, GOG.com is also hosting a giveaway of 50,000 copies of the prequel to this game--the original Carmageddon Max Pack--on social media site Reddit.com, where the developers of the Carmageddon franchise will be answering questions about Carmageddon, their recent successful Kickstarter, the new game in the series and pretty much anything else. Visit Reddit here to take part in the giveaway or ask Stainless anything, starting now!

rodrolliv: Uhm, what to do... I certainly wanted to see the game here but, I'm a bit disappointed in Stainless for how they're handling the Reincarnation KS...
What's the issue?*

*genuine question as I'm not following their Kickstarter

JinseiNGC224: Oh I would never pry you out to violate your NDA. I just like speculating, a lot.

What's life without a bit of mystery, anyway?

More social networking bullshit?

Join the hive mind! =P

Not that I really care since I already own the first. It is probably a good way to do some fairly cheap advertising for GOG though.
Finally, part 2. Nice going GOG.
Awesome release, unique great game that has aged very well. Thanks GOG.

I don't really have time to play anyways, I'm just sick of GOG boosting degenerate services. Social media has been one of the worst things for social interactions since the TV. But, unlike the TV, it manages to damage interactions even when you're having them.
Awesome nuff' said.

SpiderFromMars: Still wishlisted the first... :/

Check it out.

And one-two pages up in here.
Wow free Armageddon Max Pack in 5 seconds. Check the photo attach. I literally just registered in Reddit and sent a message to GOGaway a few minutes ago. And boom, finally got my wishlisted game with no problems. Super nice promo!

Today is a good day.
Yay! At last! And with 3DFX too! Hopefully this will mean that some previous releases will be updated in a similar fashion.

rodrolliv: Very few updates, almost nothing about actual in-game stuff. The beta is scheduled for Q1 2014, which is a year later than the initial announcement, IIRC. And recently they said that Reincarnation will have DLC, and backers would receive the basic Starter Pack. Then after some nasty feedback from some of the backers they rectified and confirmed full package for everyone.
They could certainly show us more than they have, but the main reason that the release date has been pushed back is because they're sitting pretty with a lot of extra funding. So that much at least is actually good news. But yes, they certainly could have got us some more in game footage by now. I'd like to think that what they showed us initially has been entirely replaced by now.

As for the DLC, I don't recall being promised any of it. So getting ALL of it is certainly nothing to complain about.
