xa_chan: GOG's version is english only

Miaghstir: I'd like to redirect your attention here.

I know, but Steam's version is FULL french. Which makes a difference.

chautemoc: Oh, I can.

Lol!
prefer the GOG version
I've not been in this dilemma before. Game on GOG wishlist but very cheap on Steam, I would rather get it here of course.
I'm going to try and resist for the rest of the day as I have a massive backlog anyway.....
I paid five times this to buy it from GOG when it first appeared here. I'm only about halfway through (Lungfishopolis) but I can already say that it was a bargain at $10. If you don't already have it, $2 is an insanely good price and you should get it :-)

Same here! :) I just passed lungfishopolis. I already played it on X-box, bought it on PS2, and bought it on GOG. I don't think I'll be buying the Steam version, but it's such a great game, I might buy a copy for some people in my friends list.
If anyone gets it i have two suggestions:
(a) don't be put off by the first level or two... they are the worst levels, and you haven't gained any new powers, jumps or attacks yet so the platforming is more limited.
(b) make sure to explore the hub world between missions and talk to all the kids, half the awesomeness of the game is the atmosphere and all the small side stories that are going on.
Now get it!
IF I buy it I'll buy it here because then I'll actually own it. I hate Steam because I have to log in and download the game (I've always felt like I'm borrowing it.) and I hate Steam even more because they have some really cheap and good games so I can't resist them.
From GOG I actually get the game when I buy it.
its 2 euros.
