Damn, I was really excited about this until I saw the price. $20 would have been great, but $40 (the MSRP, not the pre-order price) is just far, far too much for me to spend on a nostalgic twitch shooter. Don't get me wrong, I love me some twitch shooters, but just because modern shooters release at $40-$60 (which I don't buy, by the way), I don't see the reason for this game to release for a similar price. Unless it's just a massive game, then I suppose I could be swayed, but why didn't they just call this Shadow Warrior 2? Oh well, at least I still have Shadow Warrior Classic in my GOG collection I can boot up whenever I want to.

Well you got to make sure katanas are legal in your country. I believe they are illegal over here so if i buy this I would be sent to prison

Loved the original as a kid. Graphics wise It looks alright but the level design in the trailer is quite bit flat. I'd wait till the game come out and gets reviews. I wouldn't preorder this or any game. Learn't that lesson the hard way with Diablo 3 CE

lol. There was an open weekend before the release and everyone knew the game was going to be a crap. Not to mention every reasonable person could predict massive server issues. People are just spending money without even putting a little effort to investigate beforehand...

I'm on the fence about this game. On the one hand, I'm happy that this is offered DRM-free. But the whole "reinventing"-angle (namely getting rid of the delightful political incorrectness of the original) ticks me off.
