With Shadow Warrior Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog bring back one of the legendary heroes of the late 1990's and make sure he's in fighting shape to take on the challenges of modern-day gaming without even breaking a sweat. Yes, Lo Wang is back in action with his faithful katana, sharp enough to slice a hair in half and hard enough to cut through rock. This is the new, young, and fresh Lo Wang perfect for the new world of first-person shooters. Expect classic feeling, modern looks, and lots, and lots of badassery and gore!

More than twice the price of the Rise Of The Triad remake, for a similar game from a similar era? That seems optimistic. Even with the Limited Edition GOG Ginsu included.

Still, I imagine some folks are quite happy to be getting this, so good for that.

EDIT: It does look gorgeous though. Which means I probably can't run it in anything but slideshow mode. :)

wow gamersgate sell it for 21€. What's going on here??
The boxart on shadow warrior classic is different now.

I will pick it up but I do hope that katana is for everyone. 22 quid is a good price
not for me, sorry guys. GOG is not being all that good at making me open my wallet lately, and my bank manager thanks you for it.
I will wait a while on this. The game looks good, but I'm not quite $34 worth convinced.
Looks like a good game, but the pre-order offer just isn't interesting enough for me.
Also, no money.

Well a euro costs more than a dollar, so if you calculate that, the difference probably isn't that high.

It seems like a pretty expected price for a brand new release that seems to be competing in the pseudo-AAA arena. I thought the RoTT Remake was actually unexpectedly cheap. Then again, in terms of production values and resources, it was a little more on the level of an indie game or mod (although that doesn't make it any less awesome).

EDIT: wait a sec... wasn't Flying Wild Hog a kindasorta indie dev last time I checked? Or am I thinking of Croteam?

Gamersgate lists the game for €29,74, which would be ~$39.-

almost 5 euros though, that's 20-25 % more expensive on gog (so high enough for me, maybe not for others)
I saw Total Biscuit's WTF is... of this just 2 days ago and he was really enthusiastic about it and it indeed looked very nice so I am quite interested in this game.

With this said, one should not pre-order games. Certainly not from digital distributors.

That's silly. Why not? If one plans on buying the game on release, why not pre order it and just get the discount?

Post above yours says GG is selling it for 29 euros, which is more than what it costs on GOG . Maybe it's a pricing glitch on your side ?

EDIT: 21.24 here .

Just checked it: still 21.24 Euro. But I am not sure how gamersgate works exactly. I did have some extra discounts in the past because of my "level" so maybe it's related to that...
Better no mess with Lo Wang and pre-order! His new katana seems much sharper than in classic games!
