With Shadow Warrior Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog bring back one of the legendary heroes of the late 1990's and make sure he's in fighting shape to take on the challenges of modern-day gaming without even breaking a sweat. Yes, Lo Wang is back in action with his faithful katana, sharp enough to slice a hair in half and hard enough to cut through rock. The game re-tells the original story of the 3D Realms fan-favorite classic, but takes some unexpected turns and explores new ideas. This is not the old and wrinkly Lo Wang we met years ago! This is the new, young, and fresh Lo Wang perfect for the new world of first-person shooters. Expect classic feeling, modern looks, and lots, and lots of badassery and gore!

Pre-order your DRM-free copy of Shadow Warrior today, on GOG.com for $33.99, and you'll receive a special GOG.com-exclusive in-game item, the classic Shadow Warrior katana, as well as Shadow Warrior Classic Complete for free!

NOTE: If you already own Shadow Warrior Classic Complete you can contact our support team for a giftable code. Please enter "Shadow Warrior Classic Code" as the topic of your support ticket.

G-Doc: With the new version of the store, the free game is automagically added to your account, so you don't actually get a giftable code.

We don't want to leave the people who already own Shadow Warrior Classic with a bit less attractive deal, so if you've owned SW Classic prior to your SW order, please just contact support and we'll send you a giftable SW Classic code.
Any chance of getting the clarification I asked for, please?
This thread has too many smileys, bailing out...

Sorry for the delay. I was on vacation. We have the option to set it up either way, so we can only use the new method with game combos like Guacamelee + Alien Blobs, in which case both are new and no one has them in their collections. Aproaching SW the same way showed us that this solution isn't always best.

Thanks for the reply - I hope you had a nice vacation.
Great to hear the old method still applies. And if I understand it correctly, you now apply the method that suits the situation best :-)

Thanks!

That's the idea, yes. In the case of Shadow Warrior we didn't think it through. No harm done, hopefully, as you can still get the giftcode from our super supportive support team ;-)

I think that in the case of Shadow Warrior the harm done is the unnecessary load of work that the support team faced.
But hey, look at the bright side: lesson learnt, model re-assessed and adjusted :-)
