A thing of beauty!

Lilly Looking Through, a dreamy adventure game for all ages, complete with heart-catching story and beautiful animation, is available 10% off for pre-order on GOG.com. That's only $8.99 until the game's release, planned for Friday, November 1.

From the Geeta Games indie studio comes Lilly Looking Through, an animated point-and-click adventure game for ages 3 up to 103. Explore the fantastic, hand-drawn world and follow Lilly’s amazing story, that is presented mostly in the universal language of pantomime, which makes the game a great experience for the whole family. The cinematic multi-plane camera system, fluid character animation, and compelling original musical soundtrack make the whole gameworld come to life and feel like a brilliant animated movie. Pair that with many original puzzles and what you get is a charming animated story that can be just as fun to watch as it is to play.

Grab the magical red scarf and let it draw you into the amazing world of Lilly Looking Through, for only $8.99 on GOG.com pre-orders. The offer lasts until the game's release, expected on Friday, November 1, 2013.
Added to wishlist. The drawn backgrounds look nice and there is a demo I can try when I have time.
What's the UI like ? One button (Machinarium, bleh), two buttons (look/action), Curse of Monkey Island / Full Throttle styled "coin", full verb selection, parser, LBA-like keyboard-driven ?
Would even a single actual gameplay (as in, with visible UI) screenshot be possible ? Even the video showcases only (adorable) animation and not a shred of gameplay...

There is no UI, it is a one click game like machinarium. The videos are actual gameplay. It is a mix of atmospheric exploration and some challenging puzzles

Mmmhh, I'm struggling to envision how puzzles can get challenging with a one-click interface and a single character. Guess I'll have to try the demo then.

Seems interesting, too bad for the extras though.

Wishlisted for now (backlog doesn't need to grow again).

triock: But I'm 104. :(
I'm a time lord. How do you think I feel? :(

I guess it comes with the challenge of pixel-hunting, finding the ONE spot in the whole picture that you can click on next. (There's even a hint system for answering the very same question.) ;)

I tried the demo and it's charming, mainly because of the graphics and music, but like PMIK says the gameplay is most similar to Machinarium or even more simplistic like Samorost. It's also a Flash game just like them, meaning an accidental RMB click will open the flashplayer menu. (Which doesn't make it a bad game, mind you, I'll wishlist it for the time when I'm done with all the Daedalics and Inner World and, come to think of it, Machinarium itself, but it doesn't seem like your kind of game.)

This looks lovely and if it's anywhere close to Botanicula-level quality then I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Popping it on the wishlist now, thanks GOG!

Only 104? You're a young pup, by Vulcan standards. :D
Nuts. I saw Lilly and my immediate thought was "oooh, a new Harvey adventure".

That said, I'm still going to be getting this.
I like the game so far, there is a demo on steam of it btw.
It's still looking very lovely. I'll probably be picking this one up.
I followed the Kickstarter of this, had a silly issue with the demo and only managed to solve it and play about a day after the campaign had ended. From my experience playing the demo, I agree with Leroux - it's a lovely little game, much like Amanita's games regarding the gameplay and although it's a flash game the graphics and music are of great quality.

Starmaker: No extras. Kickstarter incentives strike again.

Well, they're selling a Deluxe Edition on their site (humblestore) and the only extra is a PDF of artwork from the game for an extra $5.

Roman5: Doesn't look that impressive or great at first glance to be honest, im sure there are better adventure games on GOG
What confidence about its inferior quality based solely on looking at it - how do you do it? :P

I remember trying out the demo for this. Absolutely lovely art style and animation.

Looking forward to the release! :)
Wishlisted. :)
