That's only $19.99 for both the first episode, that's expected to arrive on December 4, and the second one, coming out Q1 2014.

In [url=http://www.gog.com/game/broken_sword_5_the_serpents_curse]Broken Sword 5 - The Serpent's Curse, makes sure that all the die-hard fans of the series will feel right at home. Even the modern-day graphics go a long way to reflect the style and charm of the classic 2D episodes. What's new, is the actual adventure--bigger, more exciting, and more dangerous than ever before. Make sure not to miss it, as the credentials of the game's development team promise nothing short of a modern point-and-click classic!

The game has been divided into two episodes, one of them expected to launch in about a week from now, and the second planned for the first quarter of 2014. You will get both episodes upon their respective releases when you get our Broken Sword 5 - The Serpent's Curse: Season Pass, now with the 20% discount! That's only $19.99, and the offer will only last until the first episode's release (ETA. December 4, 2013).
Nice addition to the catalogue, but I will wait for some reviews before I buy it.
Does anyone know if Revolution Software will offer Kickstarter backers a code to redeem the game on GOG?

Yes, that's the plan.

tomimt: Ah, I backed this on KS, so I've already bought it :D
Me too. *high five*
Here's hoping Revolution have learned from their mistakes, the series took a nosedive with the third installment (in every possible way, story and puzzle design included - the switch to 3D was the least of BS3/BS4's problems) and I've been patiently waiting for a return to form ever since.

GOG... Do you realize how long it's been since you started selling a new TBS ? :((

TheJoe: I take it you turned your nose up at the Linux version again, right?
I'd be surprised otherwise. Happily surprised, but still very much surprised.

This is the second game I'm waiting to see what other places will offer it (the previous being Wasteland), I want a Linux copy from not-Steam (sure, the Steam copy is likely DRM-free too, but I'd rather not build up my library there and make an ever so small increase in their statistics if I can avoid it).

19 days.
If you don't count that one, then it's 22 days

As they said in their F.A.Q. on Kickstarter, GOG will be the standard download plattform for Broken Sword V/ Baphomeths Fluch Fünf!

I hate you... That being said, it's still not enough . There's too few TBS games on GOG, and I want more !

Thank you. That means a lot.

wormholewizards: The game has nice art. Worth to get just for that alone.
Yes, i was instantly reminded of the first two BS titles. Looking fabulous!
Sneak peek: you'll be able to purchase both parts separately:

The price remains unknown though. Anyway, season pass is the best option for sure.

MasodikTiasma: It's not a season pass like with Telltale Games, where you buy 5ep. at once. Revolution Software didn't want to delay the game further, so they decided to release the 1st half in December, and the second in January.
We should already have a fairly decent amount of gameplay on Dec 4.

P1na: To be honest, it doesn't really matter to me as I have enough of a backlog that I don't plan on buying it anytime soon. It was mostly a surprise reaction to reading "season pass" on the GOG RSS feed. As long as I can buy it in one go when I eventually get around to playing it, everything's fine with the world.
This, word for word.

*except for the "everything's fine with the world". I do have a slight cough.

List off some good DOS or post-Windows 95 games we don't have here, I guess.
