Sorry for the inconvenience!

Austrobogulator: It does if you consider the bigger picture (ie. Steam is likely to start their sale on Monday).
avatar
teshra: Just read a post this morning that Steam sale will be from June 30 to July 22. A lot of responses in that thread seemed to agree with it.
June 30 is a likely date for several reasons, but till 22nd seems a bit long

JMich: Latest I heard was mentioning the 30th. And remember that the Trading Cards leaves beta on the 26th, leading to a bigger event. Make of that what you will.
That's what I'd heard as well, which gives GOG about a week before everyone's money goes there (wonder why they've dragged the sale on for 3 weeks? No new games to release maybe?)

Oh well, no biggie actually, as I just realized I have enough left over in my 'miscellaneous budget' this month for the books I want plus this -- https://scrolls.com/game - (Anyone played it yet?)

I've been playing a bit of it at a friend's house and it's awesome. Easy to see why Mojang paid for their entire development costs just on the first week the game was in beta, as it's absolutely addictive :)

That's 3 weeks. Isn't that how long GOG's sale lasts too?

Well, GOG's winter/summer sales were usually longer than Steam's. They certainly started a lot earlier. Last year it was like 10-11 days I think. Which to me makes more sense since on the 11th Brave New World is coming out on Steam, so Steam Sale 29/30th till 10th somewhere, and next day Civ V Expansion.

The last new releases currently planned are up till the 28th, then there are no new releases till the Civ V expansion.

The coming days are chockful of releases, like they're trying to get them out there before the sale. Then 10 days nothing till the 11th, Then another 10+ day gap, so it's probably either the 29/30th, or after the Civ V expansion.

The end of Steam card beta which is about to happen is hinting at a big event though, which is why some people seem to think monday.

This was brutal. My wallet feels severely violated.
If anyone has the Fair and Square Selection bundle and wants to help out. I'd like to buy Deus Ex 1.

kthxbai.
Bought everything i wanted now time to get through this backlog.
Weird, all Telltale games were discounted but somehow I didn't see the The-Walking-Dead-Season-1-Release-Day-85%-Off-Mega-Sale-Extravaganza anywhere. Please fix that, GOG.

Isn't there DLC coming out for it. Maybe GOG is waiting on that?
I would have expected Interplay do a promo bundle, since their games would easily sell very well (and the extra sales would help them out a bit).

Interplay did the PWYW last fall, so doing a 75% off pack seems like it'd be reasonable for them. A pack with the Fallout, Descent, and Freespace games would probably sell like hotcakes.

I don't even care about the discount, I just want to see The Walking Dead here. I purchased the DVD version, which is DRM free.
If the last holiday sale was one bundle per day, and this summer sale is two bundles per day, I wonder if the next holiday sale will be three bundles per day? :P
I don´t understand all this "this piss me off" etc. that was a cool sale and probably, with surprises. But it´s so hilarious see people at first "noo,my wallet noo whhhy?" to "now the same? buuuhh buhh".

The prices from 50% are right now ridiculous..and I think it has been one of the best sales from Gog since I joined it : )

+1

It's an odd model by GoG to do their encore sale in the middle, but I don't understand why anyone should complain.
Was that every deal we will see in this sale? or are there any 'hidden' ones like the D and D one like last time?
