FlamingFirewire: DEADLY PREMONITION IS ALMOST HERE! BUY BUY BUY!!

I can't believe one of my favorite games of all time is almost here! This has to be good too be true - can someone pinch me to make sure I'm not dreaming?

YES!
Is there any news regarding additional contents exclusive for PC version of the game? I mean, I have the PS3 version, I'm not interested in things like costumes, resting places etc.
I would buy this on PC only if there is some new missions.
The moon at the very beginning of the video looks like the start of Nocturne when you first load it up, now that would be cool. Thursday is Halloween and if they released Nocturne.....I can but wish

Nice video TET, works really well the way it has been edited and very good narration.

Schnuff: My first thought was *cool, something for Halloween*.
Than i saw the games offered. Well, 12 games missing but i was seconds away from buying IHNMAMS, Pathologic
and Penumbra. Lucky me i have a vast collection of game mags....and even if they sound good in the descriptions of GOG some didn't convinced the reviewer than. Still Penumbra is now in my ever increasing backlog.
In case you're wondering about Pathologic, I heard other German members say that the German localization is very good :)

edit: well, one German :) http://www.gog.com/forum/pathologic/translations/post6

Don't take the 360 version, because is the vanilla one.
Only on Ps3 (until now) was produced the Director's Cut of the game, including some new FMV.
Got all the games on that list, with the exception of Machine for Pigs (the original Amnesia didn't do much for me, so I doubt this one will excite me much). I do hope that gog will release some great horror games on the 31st: Harvester, Shivers, System Shock,... so many classics waiting for a re-release!
Definitely gonna pull the trigger on all Gabriel Knight games as well as Clive Barker's Undying. Deadly Premonition will have to wait for a deep discount, but I'm keeping my eye out. As much as I love cheap games, I hate the backlog :(

Thanks for the heads up, I have ps3 as well so I still have an option open :)
I can't believe my eyes. Deadly Premonition will arrive at GOG shortly. Awesome, I'll buy it today as soon as possible. Too bad I'm freshly moved and my PC is still buried deep in the pile of boxes :x.
cat lady and Gabriel Knights 2 + 3, Would Those be Well invested €'s?

i must admit ive Always been bit suspicious of GK 2 & 3 as "They Don Look Like the First one", Which Was Simply brilliant.

gandalf.nho: What about subtitles for the video?

TheEnigmaticT: This video was turned around on a tighter timeline than usual. Also, I had no script. So, um, maybe we'll make a transcript eventually. >.>
Good news.

And nice reference to the Addams Family in the news text, GOG!
highly recommend gabriel knight 2: the beast within. i beat it for the first time about a week ago and it's easily the best fmv game i've ever played. not only that it's one of the very best non-comedic point and click games ever made.

i can understand the mixed reviews about the acting. it seems like OVER acting at times but it's totally serviceable. the locations are fantastic. the music is incredibly good and it's sad there is no soundtrack that comes with it. the story is a werewolf story but how it's told is really great. it's fictionalized history dealing with bavaria's ludwig II, the composer wagner and more. most of the puzzles make sense. there are at least 4 or 5 off the top of my head that i had to use a guide for (but i'm not an adventure gaming wizard). i'm definitely picking up the rest of the series. but for anyone wondering, the story itself is self-contained and has a solid feeling of closure at the end. without spoiling anything...the game is worth it alone for one gruesome part and seeing gabe's reaction to it. alone at my computer, i literally stood up and yelled, "OHHHHHH SNAP YO!" at the screen and to top it off i really was sad this game ended at all. the ending was solid enough but the ride there was tons of fun. a little bit of a slow start but the last three chapters are intense. hmmm i ought to copy/paste this as a review. i liked it that much.

edit: you also get to sit through a fictionalized "lost opera" from wagner that's pretty wild (and well done) for a video game.

so. i'm picking up GK 1 and 3 for sure. also see deadly premonition is coming out. i've been dying to play this as a big twin peaks fan. my gf and i probably sit through that series together once every year or two.

Fantastic promo, already have most of them but a great deal for everyone. And seriously, Undying for less than $2 USD? You must have this if you do not already. Superb game.

Now then, GOG, hurry up and enable the buy link for Deadly Premonition so that I can put it in the cart with Outlast.

!!!
Just wanted to thank the GOG team for this Halloween goodness! Frightening, dark and moody games are my favorite and I'm very appreciative of you offering them. Cannot WAIT to play Deadly Premonition for the PC! I had it for the Xbox 360 and must have played through it like 3 times! One of the most memorable games I ever got my hands on.

Again, thanks for all your hard work and Happy Halloween!

Rob.
