keeveek: Dragon Age: Origins is a great game, with touching and mature story, with many moral choices (I really loved the part with "demon child" in the Mage tower), nice relations between party members and more.

Mass Effect 1 - I enjoyed it, but not as much as I expected. Many boring sideplots involved

Mass Effect 2 - on the other hand - the best game of 2010 IMHO. Because of it's EPIC STORY and characters. I trully love Miranda Lawson to the grave, haha.

FlintlockJazz: I felt that they ruined the moral choice in the Demon Child quest by giving an easy way out, which was one of my main problems with the 'moral choices' in DAO. Still a good game though, and worth getting.
I didn't pick an easy way out, because it was longer, haha :D And mother died. :D

Worst VO ever. I so wanted to kill her but I usually play a good guy. For her I was prepared to make an exception.

Well as a character too she was quite repulsive as well. It is her fault that dozens of innocent peasants die and tortures an apostate mage SHE brought into the household, and yet she never faces any kind of charges for this. If I was a peasant living in that village I'd be considering revolt for the lack of punishment going on!

I bet you agreed to let the demon have the kid later in return for blood magic too. :P

Ah, c'mon. The apostate mage she brought into the household came recommended by Anora's Regent, the freaking Hero of River Dane. How could she possibly not trust him ?

The only thing she's guilty of, terrible accent aside, is wanting to keep Connor away from The Circle. Can you really blame her ?

I'm not saying I don't understand why she did it, but when people started dying she still chose to put her son above the welfare of the village. She was not only willing to let people die to cover it up, she DID let people die for her son, and I think she should have been held accountable for her actions. Especially since she was effectively in charge and responsible for the well-being of her people! Instead she gets away with it, while the poor hardworking serf is left to suffer! Overthrow the bourgeouise scum!

In all fairness, that's what mothers are supposed to do.

Didn't play Mass Effect games but I can higly recommend Dragon Age Origins, it is enjoyable to play from the very first minutes to the end, while the story may be a little linear, there are still many choices in the game that have a big influence to the game. The story is interesting, the characters are well developed, graphics are good, music and sounds even better. The only bad aspects of the game are buggy combat in the few moments (hand to hand combat) and little difference between Rogue and Warrior classes. The game is addicting and certainly not too short, your enemies are varied, as are the locations. DAO is said to be one of the best PC games of the recent years and it truly deserves the title.

Think about the situation where you first meet him. If that was real life scenario, would you let him live?

But I agree, Zev does rock :)

You know why I like Zev and he's a bro?

Zevran "Would you mind if I said I find you attractive?"
Me: "I don't mind but let's not go there"
Zevran "Ah shame, well let's go kill things!"

Dragon Age 2 Anders: "Dude I want you!"
Me: "Dude I don't swing that way"
Dragon Age 2 Anders: "What the FUCK??? Holy hell I hate you!" +15 Rivalry
