Say farewell to 2013 and welcome 2014 with 15 special bundle deals up to 80% off.

2013 is coming to an end. Oh, what a fun year this was to be a gamer! Especially a PC gamer, as our console brethren got quite a sizable share of stress and frustration along with their fun, mostly due to the controversy around the new console generation DRM policies. Luckily, the NoDRM movement scored quite a success there, and some of the gamers' worst nightmares did not materialize in the end. Meantime, here at GOG.com, it was another year of DRM-free gaming. We got bigger, we got better, and our catalog of the best games in history got more extensive. Business as usual. It was a good year to be a GOG.com user, and we can promise you this: the next one is going to be even better!

But you're probably anxious to hear about our promo for today, right? Well, we did wrap up the 2013 DRM-Free Winter sale last Sunday. But this doesn't have to mean we can't offer you some amazing deals today still! Remember all those bundles and packs that competed for your support to become the daily community choice? We know that a whole lot of people were disappointed to see their favorites get fewer votes than the other deal and seemingly vanish into oblivion. Fret not! We kept all those offers safe for you, and you can get them all now. Just navigate to our main page, and see for yourself: 15 special bundle deals up to 80% off. Nice, huh? Well, there's no better party than a gaming party, so let make the transition from one year to the other to the sound of laughter, mice clicking, and keyboard tapping! Hurrah!

This final 2013 special "bonus stage" offer will last until Thursday, January 2nd 2014, at 9:59AM GMT.

Happy New Year of gaming, everyone!
I was looking forward to this. I just bought the Settlers pack and will buy the Fantastic Open Worlds later. Best way to end this year: To double the number of games I bought in December :D Thank you, GOG.
Glad I held off on the Wizardry games during the Christmas/Winter sale. Played the living hell out of those back in the day, nice to get a version that will run more stable on modern computers.

Novotnus: Indeed it is!
You know, I think Jack Keane might just become a cult classic on GOG because of that Insomnia sale. :)

rtcvb32: To make a larger transaction rather than lots of little ones to complete the deals, I've successfully done the following:

Gone into the deal in question, if I determine I wanted it I 'checkout', however afterwards I simply saved all the games to my wishlist (save for later), which immediately disqualifies them for the large savings.

Rinse and repeat on all other deals.

On the last deal, move the deals back from your wishlist to your cart. If you've done it right and it completes the deal, the price will drop. It may not work on certain selections in which case you either have to start with them, or try it again, or get it on a second pass. I recommend adding your total up and compare it against your shopping cart to make sure you're getting the correct deal/value (Just cause it worked for me...)
Thank you for this. +1

As they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity :)
Now if a company could engineer such reaction as a marketing gimmick... that would be something.
And it's not the first time I buy a game based on negative opinions on it. I got Ethan: Meteor Hunter from Groupees after reading that the game sold only 127 copies on PC (gave the game a try and I kind of understand why - hell, maybe I should give the devs some feedback). But the point is, I bought it after reading that nobody wants it!

>implying that it already hasn't

:P
I waited all this time for a discount on Thief 2.....I got Thief 1 and 3 on the Insomnia sale but Thief 2 managed to stealthily get away (maybe that's why it's the better game). Maybe when the new Thief game comes out in 2014 I can get the second one with a good discount.

Love these GOG sales, spent so much more than I expected to. Congratulations GOG, Happy New Year to you and the great community here in the forums.
Cool.

Lets play some party music:
Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance
Otto Waalkes - Grund zum feiern

I'm also usually very interested in games that are famous for being bad and/or for not selling well. Makes me want to find out for myself if it's really as bad as people say. :) And I *am* very curious about Jack Keane! Haven't bought it yet, but I'm pretty sure that I will at some point. ^^

Okay, that wraps up my winter shopping, I think. With the addition of the two bundles I just completed, the Winter Sale and the Let's Party promo leave me with 70 new games, and an empty Paypal account. And it was totally worth it. :) Thanks a bunch, GOG, and a Happy New Year! See you in 2014. :)
Nice promo, especially Mighty Heroes Magic Pack, for me. I have already completed this collection.

Thank you GOG and Happy New Year for everyone.

While you're waiting for Thief 4, The Dark Mod has gone standalone :)

(after you're done with the first three Thiefs :) )

Just want to chime in with my thanks. I was so bummed when the HoMM bundle lost to the Bullfrog one, which had already been discounted other times, but now I got my second chance.
Quick question: if i'm only interested in two games of the Tactical Strike bundle, would I be able to gift the remaining 2 games to others GoGers or would all 4 go to my account?

I really hope we'll see some BOGs coming to GOG in 2014.
Leisure Suit Larry series lacks two games (decent poker with Larry characters and terrible abomination called Box Office Burst)
I'll keep lobbing about Harvester (which is not a bad game - it's a weird and crazy FMV game infamous for its violent content... if it's bad - and for some people standards it would be - it's 'so bad it's good' category)
Big Rigs and Country Justice would be lovely for April 1st releases :)
I remember reading about a weird adventure game called Animal - where you play as humanoid sausage that clones himself and sells those clones for people to eat :)
What about Toilet Tycoon? :)
Shame we'll never see release of Limbo of the Lost. I'd love to see the game remade without stolen graphics. Even then, it would be a masterpiece of shit :)
