We'd like to give you a heads up that some of the games are only available that way on our sale only for about 25 more hours. Yes, there was one during the blowout sale day I believe. Apparently it was 80% at a ridiculously low price of around $9.

80% discount if you buy the whole bundle (or trade with somebody who did). We saw this only during the Longest Day Sale so it should be back some other day

Not sure. Just tried to make a purchase though and it timed out, saying there are technical difficulties. Perhaps they've halted purchases until they switch the price back?

Ugh, this sucks... Here I was confident I could wait until the beggining of July to buy some of these games, I didn't even see this message until now...

So, you guys are saying it's the publishers' decision to lift the discount early?


And I do appreciate the heads-up, but maybe this kind of message could be sent to the email as well next time? I mean, I didn't know about any of this before, so it caught me off guard.

It might not be a bad idea to include this kind of information in the thread anouncing the sales' start, followed up by the the 24 hrs reminder.
While I can see how doing so only 24 hrs before the end may serve to surge some sales, I suggest this as a 24hrs heads up might not be ample warning for some people (bad timing, missed frist mention, etc.).

Just my two cents for future reference.
I agree, please next time place the "Square Enix, Bohemia Interactive, Capcom and Interplay catalogues will all only be on promo for one week." on the sale main post. I would understand if GOG didn't have that info, but since it has, it should be more clearly exposed - I shouldn't have to run trough a whole topic to find that...


Oh well, I'll just have wait till the end of the year promo to grab some of these...

Good suggestion! And thanks for the info! I totally missed that post, and so was quite surprised by the sudden 24hrs heads up notice. I was away from GOG for more than 24 hours - shame on me ;-) - so got the notice after the fact.

Any more surprises like this hidden somewhere, or is it now safe to assume "500(-60)+ Games 50% off until July 5" and "Once again: More than 500(-60) games 50% off until July 5." to be valid statements, GOG? :-D

Soo I didn't buy Fallout 1 and 2 in the hopes they will be sold in a bundle sometime during the remainder of the sale.

After re-reading this thread it appears I should've pulled the trigger on the individual sale. Or am I mistaken ?
