Got Total Overdose.

Seemed kinda intresting.
I would have bought some of these, were it not for the less-than-optimal timing. I'm getting paid on Friday, meaning I don't have money to spend on games right now.

GOG, if you want to sell more games, think about arranging these sales to coincide with the end/beginning of a month.
Thanks for the warning :)
Might get fallout 1 and 2.
I'm a bit surprised the packs with Legacy of Kain, Arma, and Deus Ex didn't repeat today if the games are going off sale.
The people asked for such a heads up and GOG delivered. Cool!
Some fantastic games and best time to get Fallout if you havent yet.
lucky I decided to check the forums before bed. I'll pickup omikron now did this gem ever get to a working state? If so might consider picking that up

Edit A quick read in the forum for it answered my own question as to it being NO it has not been fixed to a playable state

I just checked out the demo for Total Overdose and now I feel like an idiot for waiting until now to get it (my kind of violence!) but I'm curious about the controls. I played the demo with the tradition FPS WSAD/mouse but it seemed to have an auto aim feature more suited to a game pad (ie Max Payne). Either way I'm getting in but I'm curious how folks who have played this go about the controls for it?
~laughs~ I've been getting daily PM's from Licurg and I finally complied with his wish - so should you!

Haha, lol, he's spamming people's mailboxes now?! :D
I'll see what I can do, but Paypal is taking a long time to verify my bank transfer.

Nope! He's just convinced that he can turn me into a "real gamer grl" someday ;-p
Dear GOG,

I'd like to put the following suggestion into your consideration.

When the summer sale started, there was a rather casual post by you in the forums stating the specific publishers who's games would be on sale only for a week and that you'd give us ample warning before the end.

It might not be a bad idea to include this kind of information in the thread anouncing the sales' start, followed up by the the 24 hrs reminder.
While I can see how doing so only 24 hrs before the end may serve to surge some sales, I suggest this as a 24hrs heads up might not be ample warning for some people (bad timing, missed frist mention, etc.).

Just my two cents for future reference.
I was holding out for a daily that never came, but 50% off is fine. Picked up Omikron and Screamer 2.
