A puzzle inside an enigma inside a puzzle inside an enigma inside a puzzle.

Stacking, the unique multi-layered and puzzle-packed political adventure from Tim Schafer's Double Fine team, is available 60% off today on GOG.com. That's only $5.99 until Thursday, April 25, at 9.59AM GMT.

So, we decided that it'd be fun to have two Gem stacking promos this week. Monday's Gothic series stacking promo was an easy choice, but Indie games aren't that big on sequels. So, we thought, why don't we do a regular Indie Gem promo on Stacking instead? Behold the GOG.com's marketing brilliance at it's peak. Please be impressed. Anyway, in this original adventure title, the workers are being exploited by the ruthless industrialist known as The Baron. We're talking things like child labor and life-ruining debts here.

In Stacking, you are Charlie Blackmore, the youngest and smallest member of the Blackmore family. Your tiny size comes with a big advantage. In a society of matryoshka dolls you're the one who fits perfectly inside other citizens, gaining control over them. It's up to you to put an end to this proletariat exploitation and free the other Blackmores from the greasy hands of The Baron. This game offers much more than just original mechanics, and you'll have a great time uncovering its secrets layer, after layer, after layer.

This game is so fine, it's Double Fine! Find out why, get Stacking for only $5.99. The offer lasts until Thursday, April 25, at 9.59AM GMT.
This is a cool game, definitely brought a smile to my face several times, I do recommend people pick it up. I'm a little amazed that I somehow got it on PS3 for cheaper than this, they must've gotten an amazing percent discount that I didn't even know, PSN usually can't match GOG or other PC digital distribution on the odd times games overlap.
I'd say the difficulty and length vary - I've played it several hours and not gotten that far, there's a bit of beating your head against the wall, but I'd say it's a good game, nice to see the creativity, and a great dale price.
Awesome DF game! recommended :)
$6 for 4 hours long and 2 years old game, I don't know. It's Double Fine and all but I saw it on PSN for $3 and that store tend to be overpriced as hell.
Give me $3-$5 promo and you got my money :).

I wish it was on sale for longer than a day. I don't get paid until the 4th :(

8.0 user rating on Metacritic. I'd say it's probably worth it. But forget that, go buy Zeno Clash 2, receive the first game for free, crush some unfortunate faces with your knee.

Aaah, Zeno Clash.

Wow, one of rare games where Metacritic score is same for critic and user reviews.
I played Stacking demo and it was interesting but it didn't click with me enough to pay whatever pricetag it has. And I didn't know Zeno Clash... *googling* Not my type of game but thanks for the tip :).
