Primordia, a sci-fi point-and-click adventure game with enthralling story, multiple endings, and pixelated graphics, is available 50% off on GOG.com. That's only $4.99 for the next 24 hours!

A dry, barren shell--that's what planet Earth was reduced to. By every definition we know this post-nuclear wasteland is incapable of sustaining life. However, the definition of life itself changed quite a bit over thousands of years. For what is life, if not movement, and thought, and determination to survive? Under the burned-out sky there's still plenty of that. There are beings as small as an insect and as huge as a mountain, awake and sentient or slumbering without a single thought or emotion--all of them made of metal, plastic, and glass, with batteries for hearts and brains of silicon. Some of them tend to think more than the others. One of them thinks too much. Horatio Nullbuilt ver. 5, a robotic philosopher. This is his story.

Primordia is a point-and-click adventure game, as classic as they get. It sports excellent, hand-drawn, pixelated graphics that make the game a unique aesthetic experience and draw the player into the grim and strange future of our planet. The puzzles vary from trivial as direct current circuit to hard as titanium alloy, but all of them keep well within the limits of logic and reason, and for the better part avoid tedious pixel-hunting. Intriguing and thought-provoking story and exceptionally well written dialog should satisfy the most demanding adventure gamers, and the brilliant voice acting and humor make this title feel like one of the classic gems of old. Highly recommended to every point-and-click fan!

Witness the new, and quite possibly the final chapter in the history of life on planet Earth in Primordia, for only $4.99 on GOG.com. The Indie Gem Promo lasts until Thursday, April 11, at 10:59AM GMT.
I really am glad that Wadjet eye games exist. What adventure games would be without them I cannot fathom.
Great promo. |This might very well be an instabuy for me. :)

Blackwell Epiphany
Da New Guys: Day Of The Jackass

I love Wadjet Eye, but... isn't this bordering on being spam? Relevant spam, sure. But still spam?
...or maybe I'm just too close-minded. Nevermind.

Yes I think too that it is some sort of spam. Mention a game that is not for sale here in any topic and you'll see Barry post the wishlist link. And don't mention a developer or a publisher as in that case, the whole list is posted... Kind of annoying.
Already have it and loved it, it was my first point and click adventure game.

My only problems was that it was kinda short imo and to me personally I would like it better if it was HD looking like Street Fighter 2 HD instead of the 16-pixel graphics.

I just mark it as spam and move on, because that's exactly what it is.
Well, I have now bought it and I can't wait to play it. Also, I love the name Primordia. It's impossible for me to say it normally. I always have to say with with a really deep, husky voice, like the movie trailer guy.
Great promo, thanks GOG!
On the fence. I haven't made it through Gemini Rue, despite picking it up quite a while ago. I'm not sure how much more likely I am to stick through Primordia's puzzles, but I was definitely intrigued by the trailer.

Maybe I'll pick it up just to support the fact that someone is still making intriguing point-n-click adventure games.

Sounds like I should pick up Resonance at some point too.
Heard good things. Picked this up. Maybe after Cat Lady?
Nice, I've been wanting this one.
...and purchased. Downloading now.
Update on checkout pages looks like a quick-fix to me :-P
Have waited a long time for this to go on sale. Pleasure doing business with you GOG.
