Primordia, a sci-fi point-and-click adventure game with enthralling story, multiple endings, and pixelated graphics, is available 50% off on That's only $4.99 for the next 24 hours!

A dry, barren shell--that's what planet Earth was reduced to. By every definition we know this post-nuclear wasteland is incapable of sustaining life. However, the definition of life itself changed quite a bit over thousands of years. For what is life, if not movement, and thought, and determination to survive? Under the burned-out sky there's still plenty of that. There are beings as small as an insect and as huge as a mountain, awake and sentient or slumbering without a single thought or emotion--all of them made of metal, plastic, and glass, with batteries for hearts and brains of silicon. Some of them tend to think more than the others. One of them thinks too much. Horatio Nullbuilt ver. 5, a robotic philosopher. This is his story.

Primordia is a point-and-click adventure game, as classic as they get. It sports excellent, hand-drawn, pixelated graphics that make the game a unique aesthetic experience and draw the player into the grim and strange future of our planet. The puzzles vary from trivial as direct current circuit to hard as titanium alloy, but all of them keep well within the limits of logic and reason, and for the better part avoid tedious pixel-hunting. Intriguing and thought-provoking story and exceptionally well written dialog should satisfy the most demanding adventure gamers, and the brilliant voice acting and humor make this title feel like one of the classic gems of old. Highly recommended to every point-and-click fan!

Witness the new, and quite possibly the final chapter in the history of life on planet Earth in Primordia, for only $4.99 on The Indie Gem Promo lasts until Thursday, April 11, at 10:59AM GMT.
Qwertyman: Boughted.
Accatone: You mean you had bought before, but you bought again?! :)
I had boughted it just now again for the first time today yesterday!
Nah, still too much for me. :I
Austrobogulator: Not quite; but its setting is absolutely wonderful.
Yeah, the setting looks really nice!.. I had a great time with Resonance, but I'm afraid that I'll have to pass this one, for now...

I was just about to buy it now, but I aborted upon realising I had already boughted it beforehand.
Nice, will buy it as soon as I get home :-P
Nice one. I've been interested in this one since it was released and $5 sounds like a good price, even if I'm normally not a big fan of point & click adventure games.

Edit: Oh, also you guys have just updated the receipt screen. Looks nice, if a little weird at first. ^^

Great, the indie gem promo I hoped for. Thank you, GOG!
Stooner: Is this one as good as Resonance?
Personally no but I think Resonance is one of favourite point and click games

Yup, not my favorite, but I like it a lot too... ;p
This game was awesome, good voice acting, good story and characters, interesting puzzles (while not being mind-numbingly hard), and nice pixel art.

I hope we get a "sequel", or at least another adventure game in the post-human Primordia world.
At first I thought this game must be meh, but seeing that it's keeping itself with 5 stars it's raised to my list of "probably should try it when it's on a sale". Unfortunately with this weekend's promo not only I spent way more than I expected to spend in games for a while but I also now gotta somehow pull thousands of hours out of somewhere to sink into those RPGs. Not playing them would be a disservice to those great games and to my hard-earned money.

So: sorry Primordia, you're the victim of really real bad timing.
Bought it instantly =)
Hey. This is a great game... Really intriguing story line and characters. If you want to know more, please check out a couple of reviews on my site. I wrote the first one, and another writer did the second.
Thank you GOG. Added this little gem to my collection!
