Now, you can be even cheaper on your night out!

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded, a sleek remake of the Al Lowe's original naughty adventure, complete with orchestrated music, new puzzles, new distractions, and new women, is available 40% off on GOG.com. That's only $11.99 for the next 24 hours!

Hey, who is a babe like you doing in a place like this? The correct answer is Larry, by the way. Larry Laffer. Aroused to meet you. I have to confess something: I lost my virginity. Can I have yours? You know, I'm a man, you're a woman--just do the math. By the way. Those are very nice legs, what time do they open? Seriously, I'm not Fred Flintstone, but I can make your bed rock. Oh, come on! I'm doing you a favor. I know people who know people who could get you in touch with people who can get you into the movie industry. That's right babe, daddy can make you a star! So, where are we going, your place? What do you mean: stop following you, this wouldn't be much of a date if I did. What are you talking about, what restraining order? Oh yeah, like that could ever get in the way of true love! You're breaking my heart. Seriously, I will never recover from such a loss. Damn. Another one gone. And she was like a solid five. Maybe even a slightly outdated six. Oh, hi! Who is a babe like you doing in a place like this?

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded takes one of the most memorable adventure games of all times and gives it a total makeover to add some modern--yet conservative--bells and whistles. You'll get to play through the entire original story, now presented in hand-drawn 2D cartoony graphics (not unlike the art-style of Larry 7: Love for Sail), and accompanied by a great new orchestrated version of the soundtrack from Grammy-nominated, BAFTA-winning composer Austin Wintory. On top of that, the new version comes with new puzzles, mini-games, activities, and--most importantly--new women for Larry Laffer to woo. Isn't that exciting? Very exciting? Dare we say: arousing?

When was the last time you visited Lefty's Bar? Take the famous yellow cab to lewd adventure in Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded, for only $11.99 on GOG.com. The 40% discount offer lasts until Thurdsay, October 3, at 9:59AM GMT.

tinyE: As a lifeless pervert any LSL game is worth whatever price, I was worried about the specs. After my Amnesia disaster I'm keen to check everything now.
I'm using an AMD 3700+ 2.21GHz, 1GB RAM. It was too slow in fullscreen, so I ran it in windowed mode and it ran fine.

By the way, has any of the people that kickstarted this asked the developer for a GOG key? I wonder if I should. Still waiting for my Lefty's t-shirt... :D
I remember playing the original back in the day (yeah sad i know!!).Was awesome. Wishlisted this remake for now. $10-15 is about right price for this though....
The 'mushrooms and earwax' part in the chapel was worth the price of admission alone.

What do you mean by "less style"?

Kunovski: personally I find the old pixelated graphics much more charming :) I'm also told that the animations of characters are horrible (what is funny in pixelated version looks shoddy in modern graphics), some of the puzzles have been removed (due to some legal reasons) and replaced by something more stupid, and it still uses the OBSOLETE adventure game controls of clicking on "walk", "look at" etc. which I thing should have been the only thing they should have updated...

but that's just what I've heard or think :)
I find Ultima I little blocky thingies quite charming as well, still Ultima VII is much better.

Love you Larry, your true and forever fan.

I already redeemed my steam key from them so I'm not going to add more costs onto the developer. Just bought a copy here, though must admit I've not got around to playing the game yet.

when I imagine someone would for example decide to "remake" Simon the Sorcerer 1, I'd probably jump off a cliff :D

even though it has that clumsy controls which always stop me from playing through it again as an adult, I still think a modern look would hurt it more than improve it...
I was supposed to buy this from GOG (I have original series from GOG), but about a month ago I was drunk and noticed that Reloaded was on sale on Steam. While the game was as short as the previous versions, I enjoyed new puzzles, voice acting and graphics.
The 2.0 update should be coming along some time soon. One of the things it will bring back is the scoring system... as in points, Larry will still have hard time scoring.
Also check Fester Mudd: Curse of the Gold. Classic style adventure from Replay Games.
