Speaking of Garfield
Or better yet...
John really is insane, isn't he?
Been meaning to get this for a while, but remember reading about some horrid boss fight or something that kind of ruined the game.
As G-doc mentioned the co-op is great especially when you can play "kick the skeleton" with each other :D
Still didn't want Mutant Blobs, but I couldn't pass up Guacamelee for 50% off.
Get this game.

Seriously if you are on the fence about this game at all, get it! It is a ton of fun with excellent gameplay.

Plus you can give a piledriver to an undead aardvark!
Just in case anyone wonders about Guacamelee's great soundtrack and why it's not included with the GOG version (as opposed to the Humble version): I asked the devs about it and they said it wasn't a deliberate choice or due to license issues but just because it wasn't ready at the time of release or something like that and it seems they would be willing to add it retroactively if GOG can make it happen.

We certainly don't have any objections :)

That's what I told them, too. Hopefully they will contact you soon, and if not maybe you could politely ask about it to convince them it wouldn't be a problem and very welcome. :)

Mutant Blob Attack is charming and all, but the authors have never touched a computer mouse ever in their life, and have no idea how that device works. If you don't have a gamepad, don't bother. With mouse and keyboard, the game is playable, do-able, but not enjoyable. And no, of course, there is no way to re-map the controls.

JMich: And the usual question about December promos. Do I get it now or wait for the Christmas Sale? Decisions, decisions...
I had the same decision to make. But after thinking about it, Guacamelee is on my wishlist and I've been waiting exactly for this - a good deal to grab it. So, will buy. $7.49 now vs. maybe $5.99 at Christmas. Not a big problem for me if I end up paying $1.50 more. :)
Took a punt and picked this one up. Both these were on the wishlist and 60% off is a good discount. I will laugh if they are cheaper during the xmas sale as there is no way I will get to playthem before then, but I won't be disappointed. Cheaper is better, obviously, but this promo is more than a fair price for these titles imo. Thanks GOG.

Just hope the Keane games go on sale for Xmas. YOU KNOW YOU WANT THEM.
Darn these 24 hour promos! I really shouldn't spend any more money on video games until I get my next payment but maaan, Guacamele looks like one of those games that I could actually enjoy with my girlfriend. Tough decision.
