Funny thing with me is even when playing with people I like I still feel stressed and rushed playing multiplayer. I can't do the quests or whatever exactly how I want, I can't go at my own pace, I feel guilty exploring or reading or listening to story. It's just not as relaxing an experience as singleplayer, even with friends.
Bill Clinton would approve.

I totally agree with this statement. I feel the same way. Glad it's not just me! Check out Enkord - Totem Tribe II. If you ever played the casual games Totem Tribe or Totem Tribe Gold, it's the same concept, but and MMO. However, it will have multi player and single player modes. One of my all time favorite games and I'm looking forward to beta. I plan to play single player.

LOL yeah, i'm an absolute terror to other MMOers on my first time through group content. I have this odd behaviour of wanting to happily just experience the content at least once at my own pace, so i slow the group down by reading (or in the case TOR, enjoying the cutscenes) and I even close the chatbox because they ALWAYS spoil the story by going over tactics for the bossfight.

I used to feel exactly the same way you do until one day i just got jack of it and figured that if the people I play with can't humour me at least on my first playthrough then I don't really want to play with them. I've felt a helluva lot more relaxed playing with others ever since mostly because I end up finding people who not only humour me, but agree with my stance and enjoy playing that way too.
