Might one also assume that whoever has the skills to pull off such a feat of multi-quote-i-tude might also be skilled enough to pull off other actions of a, shall we say, less than nice nature???

Two things for the multi-quote part
1) Too many nested quotes may break the quote system, so best to keep it to one or two levels, like you already did.
2) Press reply, keep the quote, write your reply, then copy-paste that reply to notepad. Press cancel, and press reply to the second post you wish to quote. Once you've set up the multitude of quotes in your notepad, do a new post and you are set.

And a final hint, the "reply notification" depends on pressing the reply, not on the contents of the post, so a quote doesn't automatically mean a notification.

Thanks JMich, that was actually what I did to achieve this incredible feat of multi-quotacularity.

It just seemed like the "hard way" to do such a thing. I wanted to try it out now before it was something critical and I screwed up and made some gibberish nonsense.....doh!! too late
