So I finished Planscape Torment and loved it, so I was thinking if anyone can recommend any other RPG, new or old that are unheard of.
Try to keep away from the obvious E.G Black Isle, obsidian

Planescape Torment is heaps heard of o_O

Um, Mr. Robot?
Not unheard of, but less mentioned than they should would be for example Albion, Arcanum and Arx Fatalis, (the last two are available here. Albion unfortunately not.
Even less heard of would be Entomorph, a very unique RPG where you can transform into various giant insects (at a price...). Not available on GoG either.
And lastly, if non-PC entries are also of interest for you, Illusions of Gaia is a very nice RPG on the SNES, which, while successful in Japan was practically unheard of here in Germany,
If Torment is unheard of in your book, try Arcanum perhaps?

Albion's great. Now go vote for it so it will (possibly) be on GOG...
He/She didn't actually say that they thought Torment was unheard of.

You should probably specify what kind of RPG you are after because there are about 1,000,001 RPGs out there that we could recommend.

Do you like story, combat, character customisation, exploration?
Do you like first person, isometric?
Turn based/ Realtime?

Also, just how far back are you prepared to go?
KotoR, Divine Divinity for more action.
Might and Magic
Ultima
Arcanum
Arx Fatalis
Avadon
Avernum

heck, most of the games you find in the RPG section here are great...check them

I got the impression he did. Plus the title kinda implies it too.
(well, maybe he didn't but nitpicking is fun)
yeah Divine Divinity should be played by more people, very good game!
Consider giving Harbinger a go. It's a sci-fi Diablo clone, and a very good one too.

Otherwise, try Darklands.

The 1st is timeless but I do want to mention that a gave up on the sequel. Sure I knew going in it wasn't as good but that's never stopped me before, but this was so bad I just couldn't bring myself to care.
I would say Realms of Arkania, but wait till next week to see if the remake is good.
I'll second Arkania. I'm still working on those games thanks to SimonG's giveaway. I love them.

Also, the Spiderweb games are quite fantastic. Avernum, Avadon and Geneforge are on GOG.
Gothic 2 is a great RPG, open-world game. For me, it's brutally difficult though, so if you want a challenge give it a go. If you prefer an easier game, then it's still great with cheats that help you progress.

edit: p.s. - IMO Planescape Torment is legendary and unique - there are very few RPG's that even get close
