zacattack458: So I finished Planscape Torment and loved it, so I was thinking if anyone can recommend any other RPG, new or old that are unheard of.
Try to keep away from the obvious E.G Black Isle, obsidian
It is not really an RPG (only has a levelup system), but I liked Hexplore.

Dark Heart of Uukrul, Thunderscape, Frayed Knights, and Dark Sun: Shattered Lands (well-known, but often forgotten) come to mind.

Uukrul is great, my only problem is the fixed party classes and the fact that the game has no music

Gorasul: The Legacy of the Dragon.

I haven't come far, it suffers from technical issues and it might be hard to acquire legally but it seems to be like a decent RPG.
Also, Devil Whiskey

An "indie" cRPG made around the late 90's as a tribute to the old Bard's Tale games. Tough-as-nail turn-based combat, heaps of character creation options, pretty graphics, cool music. Available now on Gamersgate for only 15$!
Thanks for everyone replieing, I'll be sure to check the games that people have mentioned.
FWIW There has been "unofficial" confirmation, from developer, that Thunderscape and Entomorph are coming to GOG this Fall (around October).

pigdog: Gothic 2 is a great RPG, open-world game. For me, it's brutally difficult though, so if you want a challenge give it a go. If you prefer an easier game, then it's still great with cheats that help you progress.
I'd say it gets easier after you level because I think the world is static, ie, creatures don't level. Personally I like the fragility of early levels because I can remember which monsters tormented me then I can go back and kick their arses! Sweet retribution!
