Join Larian and GOG.com in a live video chat!

We're preparing to launch pre-orders on the new, original, and exciting title: Divinity: Dragon Commander from Larian Studios, the creators of Divinity RPG series. It's a real-time strategy game with quite a unique concept, so we thought it would be nice to have a little Q&A with the developer team to shed some more light on their one-of-a-kind idea. After all, you don't see dragons on jetpacks commanding armies of soldiers, beasts, and flying machines into battle in every other game, now do you?

The video chat will start tomorrow, one hour before the planned pre-orders launch--that's Wednesday, April 10, at 2:00PM GMT (16:00 Warsaw time), and there's a bunch of ways you can see us talking to Larian and participate. We know that we said we'd be hosting it on our G+ page, but due for a better stream we've moved it over to Larian's Twitch.tv page at www.twitch.tv/larianstudios. Or you can simply watch it right here on this page--we will embed it below for you. If you miss the show, don't worry--a recording should be available as soon as it ends. Don't miss it, though, because we have a special gift for everyone who watches the show.

If you have any questions for Larian you can submit them in here, in our forums or tweet them at us with the <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23DragonCommander&src=hash">#DragonCommander hashtag. We'll select the most interesting questions and throw it at the devs in our live chat, so they won't be able to dodge them. As usual, we'll award the authors of the best questions with some free game bonus codes.

EDIT: Thank you for attending our live Q&A session! In case you missed it, or simply would like to see it again, here's a recording on YouTube:
This will be interesting although will have to wait till i get my computer fixed bloody hard drives.
I have some questions for Larian:

After 3 related Divinity-Games and two in production, isn't it time to give Aleroths tribes and countries more history, unique cultures and more told legends for the whole series instead only using it for one Divinity-Game and picking parts from the story of the other ones?

Will Larian publish games from other companies in future?

How much sales does Larian expect from Dragon Commander and Original Sin? Can you tell us the cost for both games?

You showed a bordgame for Dragon Commander in the Gamescom. Can you tell us what is about it, is it playable in a practical way and can we play somehow this boardgame?

In past, Larian were in development for the dark eye. How much tde is in Divinity?

Is it possible to create the pair in Original Sin, like playing two men or women or making a women-team or a men-team only with the henchmen?

What will you develop after Original Sin. Is there something in your mind? How about Divinity III? When can we pay back Damian?

Patrick the dragon is a charming, chaotic weirdo. Are you sure never leaving him alone with the programs or designs that he could change something in your games that would "surprise" the costumer?

Will there be more easter eggs of the Monty Python, like in Beyond Divinity? Or even with the Marx Brothers? Generally Divinity is a lot more predestinated then other games.

When I have more in mind, I edit.

EDIT: Sorry, I got the games mixed up lol. These aren't apart of the Divine Divinty 1+2 games are they? "Divinty" is a different series, no?

As far as I know, Dragon Commander is set in the same universe. But I don't think Dragon Commander will be directly related to Divinity 1 & 2. Divinity: Original Sin however, is supposed to be the prequel to Divine Divinity.
Question: What was the greatest difficulty you faced building the game?
Question: What is this all about?

Do you have a website, screen shots, demos - I would like some more details but this page isn't very helpful

Twit stuff and an offline twitch doesn't really allow me to know what the dickens is going on :)

EDIT: Found it, anyone interested or as thick as me go here -> the web site

Literally two-second google search, but I can see why you think they should have put up a link to it.

triock: Question - Why did you decide for a mix of genres in this game? Why not pure RTS?
The genesis of the game was described briefly a while ago in the Larian forum. As I recall, it wasn't fun without choice and consequences.
Trying to watch it but my internet's so shitty it cuts out all the time. I'll have to watch the video later when it gets posted on youtube.
Can we still read minds in the game?

Can we play as long as we want oa party or is it "limited" in fights or xps?

Are there even xps to skill the dragon?
