They might not know the game has started yet? Has anyone actually been told or did we all just find the page?
Perhaps our moderator could send them a link in a message to let them know?

It does appear that the initial response to the game is somewhat lacklustre.....
So should I start pre-looting Ovoon or what? Seeing as how they edited their post this can only mean a likely modkill.

Oh C'MON! Please?!? I got 5 kids to feed Quaid...err Goggers.
Not even got everyone started and someone is going to be modkilled?

I am not going to modkill him. He hasn't changed anything important as far as I can tell.
Ovoon, take it as first warning and please don't edit your posts any more. Not even to correct grammar. This is directed to everyone.
*Takes nap* Wake me when we actually start playing.

Have a nose through the mafia wiki - I'm sure theres plenty of theories! Personally I'm not fond of Day1 either - nothing much to go on, shaky bandwagons etc etc. Its rare there gets to be solid evidence against anyone! Mind you, its not entirely unheard of for someone to slip up big time even on day 1...
It has just occured to me, do the mafia members have their own private forum page or do they have some sort of messaging thing set up for them, or are they left to get in contact with each other? Anyway, it would be pretty difficult for them to not know the game has started.
Now that makes me think that they would be one of the first people to start going, But I suppose the logic might have been "let's not post anything until they've started getting somewhere", which would put suspicion on messirs Silverfire and Zchinique.

I am inclined though to believe that they are unaware that the game has started, mostly because I don't want to feel llike the only one who could have sat on the "Mafia game for new players" page, happily awaiting the start of the game, occasionally posting "guys, what's happening?" while the whole world span on relentlessly.

So despite such a small, flawed, vague indication I am going to stand on a box and throw my arm abreast, index finger outstretched.

Just posting to show that I haven't died and I'm not failing to keep my head above water. Those following the Mafia 6 topic know I'm not doing so hot. So try to bear with me while I attempt to stabilize.

The mafia are only allowed (as far as I know) to contact each other at night time. Probably done over PM here.

Keeping the dead awake. Also, do I detect bandwagoning*? Seeing an easy target, already painted with an FoS, going in for the lynch? And not even a hint of RVS**, to boot. For shame, JoeSapphire. For shame. I disapprove. I suggest a cure by noose, anyone with me?

FoS JoeSapphire. This may go to a vote if the early, nigh-baseless finger-pointing without a hint of RVS doesn't have a good explanation.

Newbies: My playstyle here is to lean on the accused. He's acting strange for such an early and knowledgeless stage, and ANY sort of fishiness is suspect in this game. It's why sometimes lynching a townie is a boon, not a burden, especially when they interfere with reads or get disruptive. Acting suspect interferes with reads. So we choke the information out of him, collect the slip-ups and contradictions, and drop the hammer if there's enough funny business of a good size. Other semi-experienced players may or may not agree with this strategy, and I know that it can be as harmful as it can be good, but it makes a good way to start off a game because it gives a ton of reactions from every player involved.

*Hopefully that's a self-explanatory term, though I'm not in a good position to judge currently.
**Random Voting Stage.

Hopefully this is a fairly good post for a newbie game!
The "first one is the best" votecount.

GhostQlyph - 1 - Robbeasy
xyem - 1 - JoeSapphire

Not voting - 7 - GameRager, ovoon, Silverfire675, Thiev, Zchinque, GhostQlyph, xyem

With 9 alive it takes 5 to lynch.

You were given the "honour" to be first prodded player in this thread.

I prodded Silverfire as well but as he has no posts here I did it via PM.
