I've been reading whats happened since I came out with my theory, and what has happened prompts me to do this..

His dissection of Violators post, and continued willingness to look for answers has made me uncomfortable with my own reasons for voting for him. The 'collaberation' with nmillar does look like a bit of a stretch, looking back on it now...

Violator does make a couple of good points - nmillar dropping the hammer twice IS scummy, no matter how much he dresses it up in 'oh I always do this' type posts...

But - my favourite for Mafia is Joe, and I think the other one may be our absent friend, Quad.

Look at the voting patterns 'today' - not one bandwagon has really formed, its very bitty and there isn't any co-ordination that I can discern, and I would hope that some could be spotted at this late stage (I thought I had spotted something with Baz and nmillar, but I'm man enough to change my mind and admit Baz's posts since have persuaded me otherwise). I think there is no mafia co-ordination to spot because one of them is absent...

Joe is the ONLY person to have jumped onto a bandwagon today, and I think with the lack of true info we have as a group, that jump he made onto Baz is the biggest indication of a Mafia player trying to get to a result.

I want to see what happens with Quad over the next couple of days, so not going to vote for Joe at the moment. I hope Quad reappears because a modkill at any stage aint great, but at this late stage its horrible.

Good grief, I actually find myself having to agree with you. I suggested earlier on that JoeSapphire seemed to be mafia as there was no quick-vote to get him lynched, which (and I know I'm repeating myself) suggests the mafia already voted or he himself is mafia.

QuadrAlien being absent does seem to coincide with the mafia's inability to get a successful bandwagon going. I'd be inclined to vote for him if he wasn't already being threatened with the modkill.

I voted with you because someone's going to have to start trusting someone else if the day will ever end (Unless Quadralien gets taken out). And basically at the moment that is blind trust and basically now I've chosen who I'm trusting and I'm going to try and stick by them.

I think you've made a mistake here. QuadrAlien has sent in just one post since daybreak (#422), and did not cast any vote in it.

Well, I've made a right mess of my posting schedule, haven't I? :(

Sorry about this, I've been starting a masters degree and have been a little disorganised over the past couple of weeks - I'll try and remember to devote more time to the game.

As I believe I was at L-2 at some point over the past day (quite early, to be honest), I'll mention that I'm Town Vanilla.

Now then, I did say I was going to look back through Xyem's posts, but sadly I discovered only one thing - at the start of day 2 one of the posts looked like he was trying to bait people into guessing who the Mafia targeted, possibly in an attempt to get information if anyone answered him correctly. Mind you, it's possible I'm only getting this impression due to the old hindsight being 20/20 business...

Right, then - where was I? Curses, I've got the nagging suspicion that there was someone I was considering voting for and I've no idea who or what my logic was...

JoeSapphire still doesn't seem quite Mafia to me - he just seems rather confused due to this game having being full of rather inactive players... (Attempts to glare at himself and then look shameful). Still, I might as well point out this in defense of us being the Mafia together - my previous alter-ego Silverfire voted for JoeSapphire during the first couple of days.

ViolatorX... I'll be honest with you, one thing I remember was that a week and a half ago I was actually having trouble coming up with criticism against his argument, which is a difficult position to be in when you're the one being targeted. :) He's almost filling in NMillar's position with the theory-making, though I'm not entirely sure about the likelihood of the new scenario he's come up with. (Note to self: this sentence may be asking for it) :P

NMillar, on the other hand, is being a bit more quiet even today, but given my own performance I can hardly speak, but still...

Robbeasy... Also comes up with some good theories, though I'm not quite as sure of his as of Violator's logic... I'd say perhaps it's slightly due to not backing up his theory with the vote, but then he did say he had reason to wait.

Bazilisek... Actually, I'm not quite sure about Bazilisek's reaction to said scenario. There's just a hint that it could be leaping forward to defend NMillar.... Then again, given previous experience with Mafia members trying to help each other in the game he modded, I'm sure he'd know how badly that turned out for ViolatorX in game #5... Blast, I've been typing this post for too long and my mind's wandering - I'm failing to reach conclusions.

Well, I should do something decisive with all this... I'll go with Vote NMillar for now, as he still doesn't seem to be playing his usual style.

Now NMillar has been pretty persistant in trying to get me killed, with pretty poor reasoning... I'm definitely feeling ready to join a wagon with his name written on it.

But that makes him an easy target and I'm worried that I'm maybe a little predictable. That if our friend QuadrAlien (thanks for coming back to us by the way!) IS a scummy mafia wretched scum then I'ld be dancing away beneath his puppeting hands.

Though it is a tough one. Of the two I have more reason to distrust mr millar... but he is an easy target with his nickname of "lynchy the innocent murderer" and his cruel persuit of me, and that makes me wary...

"Is now the time to be wary? we could end this thing," my heart shrieks. I'll leave it a day and see.
I'm still quite charmed by Rob's conclusion that NMillar and Bazilisek are the mafia. It seems too perfect... perhaps I should tread more lightly.
