Or are you saying that you have both a race chat and an entirely different faction chat?

I have no knowledge of what you are referencing. Perhaps you can give more details since you seem to know about it.
While I suppose we could have a friendly group that communicates with both race and a different "faction," in light of the cult talk I'm curious why your first thought jumped to Flub having a Race chat AND a cul... ah, "faction" chat.

For your convenience:
An experienced mafia player starts saying the game has masons and that he knows that for sure since he's one. Then he says he's a neigbor. WHICH WE ALL ARE. IT'S IN THE OP. But he's a neighbor who doesn't know his fellow neighbors BUT THEY KNOW HIM.
So the way I see it, there are these scenarios:
1) This experienced player is town and hasn't properly read the OP or his PM
2) He was hinting that he is a mason as well as a neighbor, meaning he had 2 chats (probably town)
3) He is scum that hasn't infiltrated any race and is genuinely confused about the nature of the race chat
4) He is scum and he's just jumping around to cause confusion/attract attention
My question was the nicest way I could find to ask him to clear up the confusion he was causing, to which he responded with a joke ( I answered my earlier questions clearly and honestly) and an annoying innuendo/bait (I have no knowledge of what you are referencing. Perhaps you can give more details since you seem to know about it) that he hoped someone like you, for example, would take.
Please do enlighten us as to the truth the prophet flub has spoken and everyone else was hiding from you.
As to your question about cults, I answered my earlier questions clearly and honestly.

Well, I've just decided to go with my previous feeling (mentioned I believe in an earlier post of mine) and vote for lxamyakxim - there is jumping around and then there is just plain weird. The whole triangle with voting and flub is just odd.
Given what we have just learned about a non-communicating faction it could just be some protection thing hitting in, but that assumes that lxamyakxim knew that flub was of that faction, and that he himself is. An still given the whole infiltration thing it is risky to use that as a clearcut approach as to voting (in his (lxamyakxim) case), unless he knew something about flubbucket with certainty.
For now these latest posts caused me to consider several people:
lxamyakxim -> Fishy fishy - and I am voting
flubbucket -> So a really elobarate way to draw out team membmers... seem unlikely.
Vitek - He stood out odd (but the terrible thing is that I almost always feel that in a mafia game about Vitek so I am ignoring that for now).
vote lxamyakxim

Red I don't know what you know about your faction members, and I don't know fully about Flub (other than I've felt he's been direct)...
But what I do know is that Darko clearly implied he had knowledge of a "race" chat AND a "faction" chat (in light of what's happend so far, CULT). As he did that on the first day, before we had access to others outside the main thread, I can't help but think that second chat is something to worry about.
And when he was called on his knowledge, this is how he responded...

DarkoD13: ...
OK, I'll be ignoring you now. If you don't want to talk about what you are, why are you talking abouT masons, neighbors or whatever?
And read the OP.

I went back to reread DarkoD13's posts and found out where the disconnect is. (huzzah for me!!) It's so funny how one post can make or break a train of thought or mindset of a player. DarkoD13's post #94 states clearly we will learn things about our teammates and such in our respective faction chats. Also be careful of infiltration.
Not knowing everyone had these things (chat rooms) flubbucket makes a comment about having a space with others where he knows others. I call them masons, JMich says neighbors, I then say that's a better name due to mafia wiki description. Other people chime in with reasons dubious.......chaos ensues
Now about this Ixamyakxim fellow I have no knowledge nor connection. However, his reasoning and arguments are sensible. Granted my name is mentioned so it sounds hollow coming from me. Fortunately I don't care.
The content of Ixamyakxim's posts is valid regardless of the player involved. Valid questions raised and valid arguments.
Townie points.

Can someone -not necessarily them but just anyone who 'gets' it- give me an exemple of townie motivation for that ?
