TwilightBard: I said I don't THINK he's scummy and you know it. It's only two posts above, twisting it to make it sound absolute does sound odd. If I had to give a percentage of how sure, I'd say it's somewhere around 65% sure he's town.

No, you said and I qoute:

TwilightBard: -snip-Hell I don't think flub is scum at all, so that's not a wagon that I would support. -snip-
So I didn't twist the words and in fact I merely pointed out that you didn't mention a reason.

Telika: That is ?

flubbucket: Well clearly TwilightBard and flubbucket are both mafia.[...]
Cheers, thanks for pointing it out. I wish all scum were as forthcoming as this - this game is easy!

may I ask who the last members are?

SirPrimalform: insubstantiality*
*Yes, I know that's not a word.
Hrrmm... Pretty sure that is actually a word; at least it showed up a lot in a quick Google search for definitions. Oddly, I found a link to a Merriam-Webster pronunciation, but not to the precise definition (just to the base word of "insubstantial"). Regardless, I hope everything clams down for you going forward. :)

My vote stays on you for now, but essentially any semi-constructive analysis from you would make me drop my vote.

As for flubbucket, Telika, I don't know whether he is a scum or town player, but I do think he is playing in a pro-town manner currently. He is very active and he elicits posts from people who have otherwise been staying mostly silent. The actual content of his posts might need review once we can put more of it in context, however, for now, I think he is better for town to keep alive.

There's actually not as much to analyse as I was anticipating...

Of course after posting I realized I should have been more specific: To me the "at all" part was the important - Given it is you that wrote it I read the sentence "Hell I don't think flub is scum at all" - as the the same as "find" - You think it - hence you mean it - hence the after all is the important part here not the "think" given you clearly did that. Anyway if you meant to say you only mostly considered him town then you should have written that. What you wrote was an absolute, so you can't really complain that I took it as such. And you still haven't answered why you believe he is mostly town.

Blimey has it been three days?! Usual weekend debauchery I'm afraid for me - back on it now though.

I'm struggling today, no-one has really stood out. It is effectivelyt day one all over again, with a lack of NK and a no-lynch yesterday. Please lets not let that happen again.

In the interests of trying at least to put some pressure on and get things going, and because its as good a reason as any

vote nmillar

for the lurky lurky ....
Has it only been 4 days? And if my new PC had arrived 6 hours ago would anyone even have noticed I was gone? That's sad.
Pre-post edit: No, more than 5 days. Sounds about right.

My PC died during the weekend and my new one just arrived. Still getting used to Windows 8, they're not much like XP. I'll catch up a little later today.
Do we have a deadline?

flubbucket: @RWarehall....

JMich' description of neighbors is more accurate to what I was talking about early on in Day One. Neighbors essentially know each others affiliation (read race) but can't communicate directly. They see each other from afar and there is a level of trust so to speak.

My concern, which I raised early on, was whether or not there could be or had been any infiltration by the enemy.
So your big revelation was that there are neighbours in this game while we all know everyone (or maybe almost everyone, I don't know that much) is neighbour in this game buecause the game is built around it?
And you are worried if they are infiltrable. What sense does it make? If there really is cult and neighbours were not infiltrable then they could just give up right away, because there would be nothing for them to do.
Also, Neighbours don't know affiliation, they can only communicate with each other outside game thread, usually at night. Masons know they can trust each other.
Here's the first part of my post. I split it in quoting and forgot to put it together. There was also the last third but ti was even less important than this one.
Probably something how I ahte you and stuff but I say it to you often enough guys, so it is not necessary to cry about it being gone.

Sorry, I was away from home for several days.

JMich: Lovers know that they are both town, but can't communicate with each other.
Not that it matters for this game but is it really so? I think I saw lovers where one was town and one was scum. And they could communicate with each other. Their caveat was that they had to keep each other alive so scum/town teama ctually make it more interesting as they have to help someone who is on the opposite side of barricade.

True, was going from memory. Seems that Best Friends is the term I was looking for.

Or Siblings, yeah. Really though, it is all semantics (which I why I just let it go when I read it). There are so many different roles possible, and so many different ways I have seen Mods name them, that the most important thing is just knowing what it is possible. Nomenclature is a distant second, at least until a role of a given name is actually revealed.

I am waiting for more posts from P1na and nmillar currently, and I wasn't really impressed with SirPrimalform's 'there isn't anything' to analyze response to me. If any one of them would just point to a single person whom they think is acting pro-town and/or a single person whom they think is acting anti-town, it would be greatly appreciated. I am not a fan of folks that just post without sticking their neck out at all; I dislike it it more than folks that don't even post it all, actually.
I tend to agree with that sentiment. There are enough posts to have a top suspect. Can't ever know for sure, but someone or a few must lead the way.
