I had kind of assumed you were an alt of xyem's or something. If you're not xyem, then xyem isn't in this game (he never even posted in the signup thread once). The game is called mafia, the theme can vary. Even in a game that's actually mafia themed only a few players are mafia, the rest are usually town (good guys). If you honestly have no idea what's going on you really really need to have a look at the flash tutorial (which Damnation has been naughty and not linked to!)

While we're giving hints and tips, here's another I forgot to mention earlier: roleplaying, however slight, is generally not a good idea - it makes it easier for the scumbags to narrow down who it might be worth killing off... Of course if someone genuinely stole your beer, I'm sorry for you.

You should read the whole thing really... you won't understand most of what's going on otherwise. Damnation should have put some explanation (and linked to the tutorial) in the first post of his signup topic really. :P

We're currently in RVS (random vote stage) because no one has any real reason to suspect anyone so we just vote randomly for a while. It's kind of annoying but necessary to start the game.

I dunno, he acts like he's got the "who, me?" expression on his face right now. As good a reason as any for now.
