As we get close to saying "Adios!" for a few days, we just wanted to bring your attention to a new point on our [url=http://www.gog.com/en/about_us/]About Us page. The critically acclaimed "Point 8" proclaims that we offer the "same game, same price, no matter where you're from!" With our humble Polish roots, we know how frustrating it can be to have access to products or other online services limited for geographic reasons. Or to pay more just because of unfavorable regional pricing. Well, at GOG.com we take that extra step... we go that extra mile... we climb that extra mountain... we hit the "End Turn" button just one more time to bring everyone around the world the same games catalogue at the same price. Wherever you are in the world, have a great time this holiday season (even if you don't have a holiday season) and we hope you get a lot of time to game.
haha you guys sure know how to play to your base. Well I won't complain for sure.
I really wish you guys a lot of success with your site, it would be in everyone's favour
You are doing great guys. I hope you will not change in future too. ;) Keep up the great work!

Or, in other words, you don't spend a lot of time and resources dividing people into geographical groups, just so you can squeeze some of them a little bit extra ;-p
I'm assuming this message is a reaction to the recent Steam debacle. It's okay GOG, we know you're on the side of your customers. Keep up the good work, and have a merry Christmas :-D
Opportunistic I see...
I LIKE that!
Well done gog team!

Everybody knows, who is the real addressee of this message ... May I mail this to Gabe?
Or should I throw a shoe at him instead?

GOG 1 - Steam 0
The VAT tax on Steam in itself was always bull anyway regardless of Euro pricing. Why am I paying European tax to a American country? always seemed highly odd to me.
But yeah. Opportunistic post or not it's a nice point to know for sure. I shouldn't be "punished" for having a higher valued currency.

This is GOG's way of elegantly slapping their well proportioned penises in the face of Valve. Wonderful!

Very well put, sir! :-D
Hehe, good stuff. I'm really annoyed with Steam because of this (partly because according to Norwegian law I am not to pay VAT on digital purchases from abroad, yet the Steam-prices now includes VAT for me too).
Thank you. I got the same trust for GOG I used to have with Valve.
Happy Christmas, all.
