I just finished Max Payne 1 Ladies and Gentlemen of both sexes.

The game did not age at all in my opinion. It is also very hard. Mooks with one shot can take 90% of your life. So there was a lot of reloads unfortunately.

Ten hours well spent.

That being said.... the story mode ranges from interesting to god awful. I hate how the whole point of most of the matches is to beat someone down until you see a "Hit the Y button" prompt... also hate how linear it is. So you may be wondering why I rated it a 7.5 then.... well let me answer that with 3 simple words. AUSTIN FUCKING ARIES. Austin Aries is without a doubt my favorite active wrestler in the world today... I have followed his career for years, so when I learned that he voiced the created character in RTWM mode I knew right then & there that I was going to create him & go through that part of the story as him. Even though the WCW invasion story that he was apart of was way more boring than it had any right to be.... His presence alone brought the score up at least a whole point or so).

Now that I finally got a new (though not very powerful) pc, I will probably move in to play mostly newer games for a while. I might be back to GOGing when the novelty of it wears off.

For now, I've finished Assassin's Creed. Good story,but I hope the other ones get at least slightly better cliffhangers than this one!

Stay focused as heck. Don't start another game until you're done with the last. Also, have lots of spare time.

Don't go to TVT until after you beat the game.

Also, I just beat:

Nox (PC) - Conjurer path.

That is the complete opposite of what I do... I actually play multiple games at once. That is why you see sometimes I will beat a game the same day or within a few days of the last game I beat & other times it is a week-a month apart. The most time that I ever spend gaming in a single day is 4 hours (& that is because my girlfriend is also a huge fan of video games... so it really pulls double duty as a bonding experience as well) so depending on how you look at it I really don't have a whole lot of free time either. It is just being able to get back into a game & not letting any one game stand for too long. Alternating between them is the real key (at least in my "46 games this year" experience).

You're supposed to get your meal tickets stolen. That does not affect the game. I'm not sure about the map though. I don't remember that happening to me. For the combat, there is two difficulties so maybe try the easier one. Also practicing in the shooting range helps a lot.
