GOG.com is in complete and utter disrepair due to the invasion of numerous classic PC games from UK Super Developer Rebellion.
The deal with Rebellion is another proof that GOG.com is the best place for digitally distributed, DRM-free PC classics. The first batch of acclaimed titles from the UK super developer include just released [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/evil_genius]Evil Genius and Ground Control + Expansion, while Lords of Magic: Special Edition and Empire Earth: Gold Edition will be available in the upcoming days. Jason Kingsley, Rebellion CEO and Creative Director said “When the GOG.com opportunity presented itself, we were very impressed with their platform (...). I love RTS based games and these titles are very close to my heart and we’re confident GOG.com will provide a fantastic service and get everyone playing our games!”.
Empire Earth is a stunning game! Wow!
I'm most looking forward to Lords of Magic SE from this bunch.

BoxOfSnoo: Empire Earth is a stunning game! Wow!

That is a fine game; however, I liked EE2 much more (especially because I could set the resource gather speed).
AWESOME LOMSE! But, theres an issue. Edition does not have two d's, the url, the images and the title bar all spell it as EDDITION. Fixor! Now to start spamming this everywhere, I wanna play MP dammit!
Lords of Magic! Thank you GOG!
Empire Earth and Evil Genius are good options, also. Ground Control is good, but I'm really tired of sci-fi war RTS. I just can't stand them anymore...

EE2 was excellent too, especially the citizen manager, but it was way more complex too. Gathering saltpeter seemed a little over the top. EE has all the important things, and a very challenging AI. Yes, I liked EE2 more, but not MUCH more.
I have this on CD, but I'm definitely going to strongly recommend it to a few friends.
I've no idea why 'Evil Genius' doesn't ring a bell with me, but from the reaction on the forum, it looks like I need.... scrub that.... must own this game.
Thanks GOG!
Lords of Magic, I remember being jealous of some kid who had that game in school.
Haha now it will be mine....actually he let me borrow it so its all good.
Definitely picking that one up.
Huzzah! we got it right on this one :)
A few here I'll add to my next purchase batch. Evil Genius is the only one I immediatly recognise, the demo was fun from what I remember, may grab the full game, & I'm Somewhat intrigued by Empire Earth due to the timespan it uses.
Another thing, will LoMSE be 3.00, or 3.01? Also, there is a fammade 3.02 that should be looked into that makes it a ton better, lots of bug fixes.
*Nerds out*
I thought Evil Genius & Ground Control were originally pubbed by Vivendi?
Did Rebellion pick them up in the big Activision Blizzard clusterf**k? I know Massive are now under Ubisoft's wing.
Great news!
Empire Earth is a great game. Thank you.
Good news, especially considering how Rebellion seems to constantly acquire "new" old IPs. A good company for GOG to partner with, I think.

Actually, all the announced games were published either by Vivendi or Sierra Studios prior its acquisition by Vivendi. Which is very surprising, as I wasn't aware Rebellion bought these assets.
This could mean some real good news, as who knows what other classics will they made available here in the future. Ground Control and Empire Earth are excellent games to start with, and I've been trying to get them for a long time.
So, Alien vs. Predator, anyone? ;)
