Dream a little dream.

Psychonauts, an immensely original and funny 3D action-adventure platformer with surreal story and dreamlike environments, is available 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $3.99 for the next 24 hours.

In this world created by Tim Schafer and his Double Fine team, there is a very special summer camp for kids with psychic special powers. Just as in any other well-organized summer camp, the children participate in various activities to earn merit badges. But instead of kayaking, building stick huts, lighting fire with two pieces of wood, they try to master levitation, hypnosis, and pyrokinesis. But just as every good summer camp story, this one also sees a sudden twist, when a mysterious evildoer abducts one psychic kid after another into the twisted realms of nightmares. It's up to Raz, a young but extraordinarily gifted cadet, to save the day.

Psychonauts combines a well executed 3D platformer mechanics, surreall design, fantastic plot, sharp humor, and many innovative ideas into one game that you won't soon forget. This title received high praise from gamers, critics, and game designers alike, and remains a landmark that stands out from a somewhat crowded genre. If you value originality and excellence in design, at $3.99 Psychonauts is an offer you simply should not turn down.

You're up for an unforgettable trip in Psychonauts, for only $3.99 on GOG.com. The promo lasts until Tuesday, March 5, at 10:59AM GMT.
Double Fine goodness :)

Speaking of Double Fine, any news about Brutal Legend?

GOG.com: It's up to Rez,
Also, shouldn't this be Raz? Or are we ressurecting someone?

No no... you're supposed to play the game Rez in order to win Psychonauts. Setting up that connection between your PC and a Dreamcast is rather tricky, however.

In all seriousness now, great game. Finally an occasion to grab the GOG version.

Raz, you're correct as usual ;-)

Damn, I was gifted a copy of Child of Eden this weekend and I was just telling someone how I preferred Rez (which didn't give me a headache). It must have slip through to the newspost ;-)

Good one.

So it was a typo, and not an indication that Resident Evil (Zombies) is coming to GOG. Damn it....

Not even a typo, because a typo is something of a random nature. This is a case of my scumbag brain working against me. ;-)

I just hope the copy you were gifted was on PS3, because if it wasn't, whoever gifted it to you is not a very pleasant person
Highly recommended. Every mission / stage doesn't feel same, very unique.
For once I'm happy I did not get this as soon as I felt the need to get it :-) . Ty for the $6 saving GoG.
Very good game, for a very good price.
Has the GOG version been updated to the latest version? As far as I recall, Double Fine did some work on the game before it was included in the HIB.

Not that it affects me, as I have the game from both here and there, but others might want to know.
Man, I own this from both here and a Humble Bundle, yet have never bothered to get very far.

By the way, the two soundtracks are on Steam for a total of 10 bucks: http://store.steampowered.com/app/3830. I'm pretty sure the music would be DRM-free, so I'm linking to it because afaik it's cheaper than Amazon MP3. I think GOG should start allowing for separate game music purchases (for games that are just a few years old; we still could use free music :), now that soundtracks are of movie quality and are being sold separately.
