Conquest: Frontier Wars, a refined deep space RTS that will have you not only fight for domination among the stars, but also manage and defend the territories you've conquered, is available 60% off in today's classic gem promo--that's just $2.39!

First contact did not go as well as humanity would have liked. The insectoid Mantis and the pure-energy Celaerans were not as friendly as the sci-fi aliens of our imagining. Instead, we have come to all-out war. A realisation came quickly--we needed to forget everything we thought we knew about warfare, adapt, and conquer.

Conquest: Frontier Wars isn't your typical space-warfare RTS. It offers many original features that make it a unique experience that can be enjoyed by newcomers and hardcore fans of the genre alike. You'll have up to six AI fleet admirals, wormholes that connect different sectors of the galaxy, and up to to sixteen territories to control at once.

Get soldiering, soldier, and pick up Conquest: Frontier Wars before Tuesday, June 4, at 9:59AM GMT for just $2.39.
Just a post to make the promo show up on the forum, for those who don't habitually check the front page.
And it's up. I recall reading good things about this game, unsure if/when I'll have time to check it.
Good RTS.
Nice to see these Gem promos appearing to brighten up my Mondays, this one doesn't look like my thing, impressive for those it is for though!
Awesome! Have been waiting for an occasion to grab this one.
Seems like a good rts.
Not my thing, but every sale brings me closer to the one I'm waiting for this time. Soon, Bard's Tale. Soon...
Weirdly, I've never heard of this (hadn't even noticed it on GOG) yet......is was given IGN's Editor Award and won RTS Game of the Year. Sounds pretty amazing, especially as the quick scan I did says it's one of the reasons these types of games are made the way they are today.

BTW, here's the start of a Let's Play for the game -- looks cool. Especially for $2.39,

I remember playing this game with my best friend some years ago. It was a one tie experience, then the game crashed. Buggy computer. Might get this for Christmas sale.

Hands down one of my fave games EVER but not for everyone. I bought it years ago on ROM and bought it within seconds of it's release here. Unfortunately it's hard to tell if someone will love it and cherish it as much as I do or think it is a big pile of festering dog shit. In Sachys' case it doesn't matter because he seems to enjoy big piles of festering dog shit. :P

Hey, even if they don't like the game, they are paying $2,39 to hear the awesome soundtrack in Starship Troopers style! (In fact, one of the tracks is ALMOST the same as the Starship Troopers theme hehehe) =P
