Round 11: Crusaders too Strong to Hold Back
Stronghold Crusader, the winner of our XXIII-th Century Battle of the Games, is available now for only $3.99. Build the castle, conquer the heathen, repel the infidels 60% off for the next 24 hours. You can also claim the English Royal Crown in Lords of the Realm: Royal Edition for $3.59.

Today’s battle brings two indie games into the area, where we see which game you favor as they take very different approaches to providing you with the best entertainment that money can buy.

Round 12: The Whispered World vs Trine
The Whispered World is a visually stunning point-and-click adventure game with hand-painted backgrounds and traditional hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation. Sadwick, a 12-year old introspective clown, needs to go on a journey to stop the approaching end of the world. The Whispered World is a magical combination of a fairy tale, adventure game, and heart-warming story great for both kids and adults. If you enjoy funny with a dose of melancholy, vote for The Whispered World.
Trine is a physics-based action platformer with stunning visuals and great soundtrack. The game won GameSpot's E3 Editors' Choice Award for being a flawless example of how a modern platform game should work--a simple idea (three characters with unique abilities), something special (physics based puzzles and challenges), and brilliant execution (just look at the game!). Trine is not an epic journey but an incredibly entertaining action game for everyone.

Tarhiel: Dang, I´ve missed The Witcher vs. Two Worlds! But now definitely voting for Whispered World, since I already own Trine.

Pheace: Welcome to Reverse World!
LOL. I thought there was something wrong with my head. I read that three times to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing :)

The Two Worlds/Witcher battle is going on, Whispered Word/Trine was the previous one.

I´m sorry, my mistake, I read it in haste and this is the result :) I´ve noticed already and voted accordingly.

LOL. It's actually not your fault. We're all still talking in the Whispered World/Trine topic as GOG forgot to put up a new one for Witcher and Two Worlds.

Glad you didn't miss the Wticher and Two Worlds battle though :) Hope you get your wish.

I already have The Witcher and not really interested in Two Worlds, so I'll sit this one out.
too bad TWW is still not multilingual on GOG. you would have had a sale here. as it stands, i'm waiting for it to be discounted on Steam again (was 75% off before). and i already have Trine on Steam.

GOG, you really need to start offering German games with German language.

F4LL0UT: Fix the discount plz. On a different note: WTF, how can Two Worlds have more votes than The Witcher??? Oh right, everyone's already got Witcher. ;P
On. The. Nose.

The Witcher is one of my favorite games... but I very much already have it.. uh, twice.
So on the voting Two Worlds it is for me since 'discount on game I don't have > discount on game I already own' ;)
And I bet lots of folks are in the same boat there.
Witcher is a million times better than Two Worlds but already have it, so my vote goes to Two Worlds.
Why isn't there a thread for the Witcher vs. Two Worlds battle? Or am i blind? :P

GOG is slow today, it seems...or staff fell asleep perhaps?

lugum: can't they have a weekend?
Last weekend, there were news posts for the two battles of the games on those days. So I guess it should have been posted automatically and but error has occurred.

Not to be mean to the GOG staff, or anything, but can't they have someone do this sort of thing from home on the weekends(Or keep one guy on part time during the weekends.)?
Ha! So I voted for Two worlds instead of TW. Now I must go shower in a dramatic way (fetal position) while crying intensely and rubbing the sin off.
Whispered World is slightly tempting but I know I would never really play it.

Lol. Had to check what "on the nose" means - thought you wanna punch me in the face for saying something stupid. :D

So you voted for TW instead of TW. Very confusing that to major Polish RPG franchises share the same abbreviation. I was once looking for information about The Witcher on some forum and it took me a while to notice that the guys were talking about Two Worlds.
