I'm in for the GTA trilogy.

I don't tend to look at the release date of a videogame, if it's good and I haven't played it, it doesn't really matter.

About the evolution of videogames, I'd had loved to be there when videogames jumped from 2D to 3D, it was probably something wonderful!

Thanks and congratulations on your 4th star!

Bump!
Congratulations on getting your 4th Star, Benderz! =)
(Not in, but thanks. +1)
Congrats on your 4th star, benderz!

I'm in for the GOG giveaway!

As for the evolution of computer games, it concerns me that DRM has become so prevalent in the past decade. There are many services like Steam and Origin that demand their users to run a mandatory client and force them online 24/7--even if the game is singleplayer only.

This never would have been around in the '90s where people were still buying games on either cartridges or discs. That's why I'm glad there is a company like GOG that understands gamers who want DRM-free games. I just hope GOG can continue to add more games to their library like Homeworld!

I still remember seeing video games transition from 2D sprites to full 3D environments! Quake 1 especially left an impression on me with immersive gameplay and H.P. Lovecraft atmosphere! That's another game we need to see on GOG!

Congrats! Count me in for Jack Orlando: Director's Cut, thank you!

Playing older titles along the latest ones can help me appreciate them more (or make some of their flaws really apparent). Just an example, playing some of the older Resident Evil titles now, and while I agree that the horror is almost gone from the series nowadays, the gameplay has improved a lot.

Thank you very much. I claimed it for myself.
Congratulations on the well-deserved star, mate! Not in for the lovely giveaway, but will answer the question.

Personally I am not overly concerned about the age of the game so much as the game itself. Having lived through the entire evolution of video gaming to date, they were all new games using the latest technology to me at some point. As long as the game is good, I'm not too concerned with the other factors. So roll on the classics, roll on the new titles, and may all the best titles find their way to GOG.

Congrats for the milestone :) I'd like to be included in the draw for Cold War, please.
Not in, but congratulations!
I didn't thanks you for your kind words, and I should because those make me happy. Thanks !
I'll let the giveaway runs until Monday I guess.
I didn't list the entries yet, but I believe some games don't have any participants yet, like Icewind Dale for example.

If I haven't already finished Icewind Dale series on box set, it would be a must have :)

(Seriously someone should return to Icewind Dale series -without being an MMO of course- I am looking at you Obsidian :'( )
