This week we'd like to introduce to you one helluva PC gaming site: Rock, Paper, Shotgun. They're all about PC games, so don't count on any console stuff.
[url=http://www.rockpapershotgun.com]RPS is all about PC games and it’s written by four of Britain’s top games journalists, who earned their journalistic and gaming experience with UK's best magazines, newspapers and websites. It aims to cover everything related to PC gaming from big releases to "esoterica from the format’s obscurest peninsulas." The guys from RPS were among the first to conduct an interview with GOG.com staff and showed the service to the world. So if you're not familiar with RPS, click on the link and enjoy your stay there - we guarantee you won't regret it! You can also follow RPS on Twitter.
I'm actually a big fan, read their site most days at work. I'm loving the current Morrowind 'live' blog they have going.
RPS has been one of my favourite gaming-oriented website for quite a while now, so here's a definite +1 from me!
rps is one of the few game news/reviews sites that still feels like it's run by normal gamers
Yep, RPS is a must-read for any PC gamer. I read them every day for the last two years and loving it.
I pretty much ignored RPS until recently, as I had the vague impression that they were just another generic copy-paste news site. Then I learned that they were specifically a PC web site, which piqued my curiosity enough to start reading some of their back articles to learn what they were about. Turns out that they're a solid site all around with some quality articles and opinion pieces - and it's all about the PC, unlike other sites, where the PC is considered a footnote to the glory of the latest consoles.
Great site.
RPS is pretty much the best gaming blog I read. Sure, occasionally they do articles which don't interest me (as does any news source!), but they bring a unique flavor of humor and informativeness to just about every piece of news they air. The Hivemind is my favorite mind!

Best gaming blog, hands down.

It's one of my favourites, I check RPS every day.
I tend to post there as "Magnus" though, if anyone cares. :P
I'd also recommend Shamus Young's blog, Twenty Sided. (He's now an Escapist regular)
I agree, this is the best gaming blog I know of, and they really get to the heart of what makes PC gaming so unique and special
Kudos to RPS!
I've following RPS for quite some time now and it's them that got me to try out the gog.com beta. They write excellent pieces and have a good sense of humor. And they got me warm for games like world of goo, men of war or zeno clash, games I probably wouldn't have bothered with if it weren't for their recommandation.
I'll throw in my two cents for twentysided. Been following shamus blog since he made his lotr comic book and before he was on theescapist. Poeple who like gog.com might enjoy his anti DRM ramblings :)

ElPixelIlustre: Best gaming blog, hands down.

The irony is I don't even think of it as a blog. It's much better than a Kotaku or Joystiq.
I was another who pretty much ignored the site (until today!), didn't realise it was so PC focused with hardly any dribble for content.
hooray!, a new blog to pass the time :)
RPS is a daily read. Pretty much the best signal-noise ratio in gaming blog land, as far as PC gaming goes. Long may they continue.
