Tranquil.Suit: I have game ideas in my head which I want to accomplish. If I show you them, will you pay me money?

And before you start comparing me to Romero, that guy was talking about how awesome the AI is gonna be and how you'd be able to basically facebook with game NPCs. Oh dear.
do yourself a favour and stop digging that whole of yours before you can't get out of it again... considering you freely admitted that you've never actually played the game, I don't know why you're still replying to this particular topic.

John Romero was (still is, actually) an industry legend. part of the reason why Daikatana bombed so hard was the fact that everybody expected greatness from the guy who invented the deathmatch and helped shape the first person shooter. we expected too much. of course, Romero was to blame for that too - at least in part - with his infamous marketing campaign and outlandish promises.

Hey, I call it as I see it. A bad game is a bad game. Don't try to peddle excuses for it, which by the way are exactly some of the faults I've stated. Honestly, why are some of you trying to defend a shitty game?

Damn fanboys.

undeadcow: Should I get the "Indie RPG Bundle" (Inquisition, Driftmoon, Divinity II, Grimrock, Torchlight) or the RPG Rarities Bundle (Sword of the Stars: The Pit, Costume Quest, Evoland, Anodyne, Real Texas)? I'm trying to conserve funds but am leaning towards Sword of the Stars and Costume Quest but Inquisition and Driftmoon too promising too. Can anyone recommend or discourage out of the two RPG bundles?
I would go with Indie RPG Bundle. Grimrock was awesome. If you like Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder and similar dungeon crawler, you won't be disappointed. I have not put a lot of time into Inquisition, Divinity 2 or Torchlight yet, but I do enjoy them and the reviews are good.
guys guys, relax. It's not time for fighting. It's time for joy, each can buy whatever he/she wants and enjoy or hate it as much as they want.
One man's garbage is another ones' treasure.

Just enjoy the games and let the others enjoy whatever they want.

pi4t: I'm torn between buying the Might and Magic bundle, and the Heroes of Might and Magic one. Since I like both RPGs and TBS, I'm not sure which I'd prefer. Obviously the HoMM one is about twice the price of the MM one, too. Does anyone have advice on which series is generally considered better?

And to forestall the inevitable response if Licurg sees this: Yes, I did get KoDP following your posts :)
Very different types of games.
The MM games are more traditional RPGs, where HOMM games are RPG light with strategy light thrown in.
If you are in the mood for classic traditional RPGs, then get the MM, if you want something a bit more relaxing with some strategy, get HOMM.

That's actually one of the most complex and deep games on our offer, with nearly endless number of possible scenarios and incredibly detailed gameworld :-D
As always, willing to help people buy individual games at full discount, as well as looking for individual games from some other bundles (see lists). Have exchanged with 10+ people by now. I use Paypal, but gift trading is also cool.

Reply or pm me.

Also, I'd like to thank the people who have helped me with getting individual games from some other bundles. Kudos.
