Matewis: Cool stuff. Does origin also have pause capable downloading like in Steam though? With my pretty crappy connection, it's virtually impossible to download any large games in one go
Uhm... I don't know O.O I have a pretty stable 50 Mbit line (300 is possible here!) which is enough to download everything in one go. My biggest download was 60 GB for Final Fantasy XIII, which was done in 3 hours, so... I don't really pause my downloads.

I'll install the Origin client later today and let you know how/if pausing works ;)
Undertale!

real.geizterfahr: You can redeem all your Steam-EA games (and retail EA games) on Origin. Some of them with the key from your Steam library, some of them with a key pulled from your computer's registry, some of them via an EA site for old keys and some with the help of EA's support. For a client based DRM system, it's pretty customer friendly.

Cool thanks :) I'm hoping that my next line will be at least 4 Mbit :P
FTL ...that game is simply awesome. Yes, I know it was released some time ago, but I found about it this year and have been playing it regularly ever since.

Other games I've thoroughly enjoyed this year (amongst others):

-NEO Scavenger
-Sunless Sea
-PoE
-Underrail
-Mount and Blade
-Space Empires IV

Not necessarily in that order, or released this year.

Pausing and resuming works fine. I just started to download ME1 and shut down the client without pausing (which is possible too) when it was at 7%. The download resumed at 7% when I started the client again.

Some additional info: ME1 is 10GB download size, ME2 and 3 are 11 GB (each) without the DLC.
