Shadow Warrior (2013) and Hotline Miami, obviously. :P

But I'm curious, what is your experience with the rest of them? Have you tried any of the following, and if so what did you think about them? Which would you recommend, which would you advise against? And if they have soundtracks or other goodies, is it worth paying extra for them?

Titan Souls
Not A Hero
Ronin
Gods Will Be Watching
Luftrausers
Hatoful Boyfriend
Dungeon Hearts
Heavy Bullets
Serious Sam 3: BFE
Serious Sam - The Random Encounter
Serious Sam Double D XXL
Shadow Warrior 2013 definitely number one. I'm replaying it for the second time, this time destroying everything that I can! So much carnage, so many explosions.

So much Wang.
I like the OlliOlli games.
I haven't played many games on that list, but Luftrausers is very good. Vlambeer have a knack for making "just one more time..." games.
My absolute favorite game by Devolver game is Titan Souls. I have bought it twice (one for steam and once for GoG) I played through it like 4 times to get all the achievements. Still haven't gotten all of them. My favorite boss is either the mushroom or the electric snake thing (I don't know their names even though I beat Unknown)

I asked a well known streamer what he thought about it. He said that he hated it because it was so short. I think it is long enough as it is.

Awesome game. Think I might play it again when it comes out on Linux.

I played the demo of Ronin, and it was great. I'm looking foreward to playing the whole thing once it's on sale (since the reviews say it's very short I decided to wait for a discount). Not a Hero looks interesting, but I'm not quite sure what to make of it, so I'm not jumping at that one. The rest doesn't really pick my interest at all.
My number one favorite so far for me is Hotline Miami, followed by Shadow Warrior (2013). Of the others I only own Hotline Miami 2, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Titan Souls, Gods Will Be Watching, and Luftrausers, they're alright but don't quite make it into my list of favorite games. The ones I'm really looking forward to trying out are Not a Hero and Broforce when the DRM-free version is finally done. Ronin looks interesting as well.

Yeah, the Ronin demo was nice, and Not a Hero looks like it could be fun, too. I played a bit of the demo of Titan Souls and I don't think I have the patience for it. I might like it better if dying was more like in Hotline Miami or VVVVVV, so that you could immediately get back into the action and give it another try, but being killed that quickly doesn't work for me if it means I have to walk back to the boss again. That's not difficult, it's boring and a waste of time.

I completely forgot about Hotline Miami! I loved that one. Great trippy halucinatory 80s fueld messed up little thing. I liked it way more than I thought I would.
1. The Talos Principle
2. Serious Sam 3: BFE

4. Shadow Warrior (2013)
5. Hotline Miami

I never could play more than five minutes of God's Will Be Watching.
The new Shadow Warrior is fun.
Not A Hero has good reviews but I've not played it yet.
Hotline Miami is good. Music is amazing.

You guessed the secret reason for my question. ;) I just can't decide which ones to choose, as I already know the more well known (Shadow Warrior, Hotline Miami, OlliOlli). I'll probably go with Ronin and Not A Hero, and just add three of the cheap ones to it to get the best discount. I was mildly interested in Titan Souls and Gods Will Be Watching, but the checkpoint system in Titan Souls combined with instadeath kills it for me, and I understand Gods Will Be Watching is rather frustrating, too, due to its perceived randomness?

I agree, shadow warrior was really good, and hotline Miami also good. As for the others, drm infected serious same, and total crap like hatoful of shite, well, there isn't anything you could do to make me own them.

Or you could get the drm free ones here, and hopeful the humble steam key reseller will realise where it went wrong. Why bother supporting it at all.
