I posted a question about it and they responded-

I asked the same question to Night Dive, but they said if they had the source code to it, they'd do it. Methinks Valiant has figured out the good ol' ISO+emulator combo to overcome that setback.

Nice. So they'll be circumventing the Night Dive blockade on GOG?

I remember ND said their beef with GOG was something about pricing, yet on the Humble super sale, I noticed they were selling Freddy Fish for "75%" off... which was almost 10 dollars. Not to say it's a bad price or anything, just an observation.

Got the chance to play Shadow Man at the end of the year before last, great game.
Well, from my understanding, I think Night Dive published Shadow Man on Steam while Valiant Entertainment published it on GOG, hence the price differences.

I was wondering about that since it was a PS2-only game, apparently.
SWEET!!

Well, that just would be an awful port, emulating PS2 is tricky (and AMD users are almost left out) and will not have graphic and control options.

Will Shadow Man: 2econd Coming get re-released on Steam/GOG?

We're working on it!
Cool, but let's hope that his reply was for both Steam and GOG, and not just replying about Steam.
I never got to play ShadowMan 2, was it any good?
The demise of a console exclusive is always a joyous occasion.
So, this clearly never happened then.
GIMME, GIMME, GIMME unlocks suitcase full of money.

So the original Shadow Man is getting a remastered version and we may finally see a PC release of the sequel, excellent news!

If they want my money then it needs to be released on GOG.

DRM-Free or nothing, I don't rent.
