¡Caminito de Belén!

Christmas is ending, but not just yet.

To all of you poor poor people for whom Christmas is un-officially over by New Year's I give you the epiphany, or night of the magi giveaway. Because in here we celebrate epiphany and it is also the day when we give presents. Thus saving the best part for last, like a delicious sweet treat. Which is not far off the mark, considering we eat the traditional Roscon de Reyes, and we have a wonderfully festive parade in every city and town. but I diggress. The three wise men or magi kings as they are known, ride from the orient on their camels and with their pages, deliver presents to all good children on the night of the 5th.

In the words of Soundwave, it just goes to show that "Magi superior, Santa Claus inferior"

Anyways, I was a bit moved by Doc's generosity, and so I too wished to spread some christmas cheer around myself, at a time when some of you might be experiencing post-christmas blues. Thus I rummmaged a bit in the forgotten recesses of my GOG vault and found a couple unclaimed gift certificates.

So here's the list:
Neverwinter Nights Diamong
Little Big Adventure 2
Giants: Citizen Kabuto
Shelter
I have no mouth and I must scream

Additionally, l also have a bunch of steam keys lying around
Sakura Spirit
Ink
Cook Serve Delicious
Shadowrun Returns
Shadowrun Dragonfall: Director's cut
Uncanny Valley
Parcel
Transocean the shipping company
Bionic Dues
Tulpa
Kromaia
Saturday Morning RPG
Steel and Steam
Hotline Miami
Capsized

Aramandur has very graciously gotten into the spirit of things by contributing with a bunch of Steam Keys
Sniper Elite
Hard Reset Redux
Rise and Shine
Beholder
STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic
STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords
Burly Men At Sea
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII STEAM EDITION
Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition

The giveaway is open to everyone with at least a 3 months old account and more or less active in here. All you have to do is write a bit about what sort of customs or traditions you usually do after New Year's, and how your game of choice would tie into it. Be creative and/or silly. You may choose up to two games, so choose wisely. Games will be given on the sixth.

Of course the magi are THREE plus all their pages and I'm just one guy. So if anyone else wants to join up you're welcome to do so. Just be warned, if you want to be Baltasar, bring your own shoe polish.

Update: It seems that the mount and blade code expired long ago, despite it appearing fresh as a rose on my account with no warning or indication as to its expied state. Sorry about that and thanks to theslitherydeee for the heads up.

Nice idea for a giveaway. I'm in for I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream. We don't really have that many traditions other than Fireworks at midnight New Years Eve and making New Year's Resolutions. My resolution this year is to clear my backlog of games (for real this time!) including a lot of unplayed ScummVM games on this list. Surprisingly I don't seem to have IHNMAIMS, so that's my game pick. Not much creativity there I know!

Interesting. I've always loved those Spanish / South American festivals. I think because we give presents on 25th Dec, the week surrounding New Year for us is typically "winding down" after the Christmas build-up and regularly feels 'flat'. I suppose for other countries who give presents a week later, early January is a lot more exciting. :-)
Thank you for the generous giveaway and happy new year! When it's midnight and the new year begins, we play cards here and the losers have to pay the drinks for everyone. Now how to tie the games to this? Maybe after getting drunk, we could mount motorcycles and grab some broomsticks and do medieval jousting :D I would like Mount & Blade and THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII STEAM EDITION if possible
No one expects the Spanish gratitude.

Happy new Year j0ekerr! Thank you for giveaway!

So, like every year, we had potato salad with wieners (here in Thuringia, Germany). We started with champagne and raspberries in it.

I'm in for Little Big Adventure 2.

Thank you for giveaway!
In my country we do not have great customs or traditions after the fireworks at midnight on New Year's Eve, but usually on the first day of the year we visit and join the family for socializing. The games I chose are the kind I like.
If possible, I would like in for:
Hotline Miami
Capsized
Hey and thanks, I am in for Transocean the shipping company

I'm not really one for tradition, but apparently in my city, they go bathing in the lakes and canals, sometimes even naked on new years day...

Not in, but gracias por la oportunidad; qué reyes tan generosos, hahahaha.

Not in, pero gracias por compartir la felicidad. Saludos!
Interesting idea for a giveaway. Not in though. +1
I don't know if I can participate, but I'll try anyway. :P

In Argentina, the custom is also that the Reyes Magos/Three Wise Men would leave presents in people's homes.

We're supposed to leave grass, water and our shoes in the windows. The grass and water is for the camels to eat and drink, and the shoes I think that's where the Wise Men would leave the presents. Not sure if that's how it works in Spain too.

I'm going to try for STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords and THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII STEAM EDITION. I don't think I can make any connection to the custom... Unless we talk about using the shoes to kick people's asses in a fight. XD

Thanks for the (possible) opportunity to win games! :)
